All the normal modes where killed on the PTR, if you're expecting normals to take months, you're dead wrong.
I was fairly expecting normal modes to be a faceroll to any serious raiding guild. Bar maybe raggy.

If you've been questing in Mount Hyjal, you've probably seen that huge monument-looking building standing in the middle of the lava. That's the gate which is the entrance anyway.
It's huge and ugly and there's lots of lava. Can't miss it.

If you're looking for the daily quest hub, it's called Molten Front. You get to it by collecting 20 marks of the world tree by doing dailies in Hyjal for 3 days. It will open up for people tomorrow since thats the quickest anyone could get 20 marks.

Also, the trash in Firelands is a bit overtuned I think. We only had 9 people, but damn that trash hits like a truck. Everyone of them puts a debuff on the tank. Like the Hell Hounds put up 10 stacks of a bleed that will do 100k damage every 3 seconds.
We tried getting to Beth'tilac but I think the trash before her was bugged. This one spider had a 180% damage buff that wouldn't reset between wipes. It started out low, then each time we wiped it got higher. So we were like fuck that, and went to Lord Ryolith, and we actually got a couple of pulls on him. Then the fucking trash we spent all that time clearing started to respawn, so we cleared a little more, then Shannox comes out of nowhere and ass rapes us while we're running back to Ryolith.
We called it a night at that point. :v:
has anyone come across some bug about falling damage? i did yesterday.
went to booty bay to fix something, jumped normally once and bam, 180k damage taken from falling damage.
went out from tailorers, fell like 2cm; 24k damage

The trash have tactics and if you're dying while executing them properly tell your healers to step up

i've experienced this, but it's the other way around. i'd jump a long distance and it wouldn't even take off a third of my health.

yeah I realise this, but I was hoping they'd make the game hard again, but maybe, just maybe the heroics are really hard this time around.

That's how I did BWD last night. I got myself the power generator hood for my lock. My first ever raid (tried it before but that guild was p. bad)
So after yonks of heroics and not getting a single useful drop, I run ZA for the first time, down Jan'Alai, he drops Ring of the Numberless Brood, I win it.
Too bad pretty much the entire group left after we did Halazzi.
