So because one thing they made flopped, that means they're a terrible company? Every company makes flops once in a while. Ever heard of the Virtual Boy? It was a Nintendo "handheld" which had about 4 games, and probably even less buyers. So just because a company makes a flop once in a while, doesn't mean they're a horrible company and that you should never buy any of their products.
You know, I just noticed something ironic. I'm defending Google, saying they're a good company. I use Firefox. He hates Google, and thinks it's a horrible company. He uses Chrome. :v:

Every company has made it's mistakes.They made google wave, and it failed... so what? Did it make anything worse for anyone? It's probably a good thing, they are showing they are trying to move ahead with technology and try to make more experimental things.
And the funny thing with youtube is, it's actually getting better a lot, just that you seem to have stuck on your nostalgia goggles.
Firstly, the five-star system was crap. You got tonnes of shit videos because everyone just goes "hurr-durr 5 stars". With the rating up-and-down system, it is more accurate to what videos are good, and what aren't.
All the interface changes... well... only changes the look. That's pretty much it.
And maybe you were raging over the testing about adding those... childish tag phrases to youtube (LOL, OMG, EPIC, etc), but then you have got to think, hey, what if they DON'T add them? If you see that it's a bad idea, lots of others will too. They have people testing the stuff, and you have to remember that not everyone is an idiot.
