Anyway the game is The Precursors, a Russian open world FPSRPG. With space travel. And before anyone asks that fleshy thing in some of the screenshots is an in game camera which you use to take screenshots. Also that thing with the eye is a knife. The knife is actually two bugs having sex but they are permanently interlocked. That eye moves around and looks at you. Also its hilarious because the two main factions in the game are basically space communists vs. space capitalists. The first thing I did when I got this game is I walked into a bar on the desert planet, and then talked to some guy who spouted a bunch of pro-communist propaganda. Anyway the game is one of the best original games I've played in the past few years. It is surprisingly optimized and well made for a Russian game. The settings and aliens are the best.

I think it's too bright. I tried darkening it down to make it much less harsh on the eyes but tried to salvage the white of the reflections and even then it might be a bit much and overall it's pretty blurry in a lot of areas. You can try my other two Witcher 2 background images, too. So I tried getting closer to that decaying corpse in one of the screens. Turns out that those things buzzing around it aren't just a graphics item. They swarmed me and followed me about halfway across the map before leaving me alone. Then I got run over by a truck.

Red Faction Guerrilla isn't that amazing. It's cool at first until you realize that the game rides on one gimmick.

I can't play Metro 2033 or any of the STALKER games at night. Not because I'll stay up all night playing them but because I'd probably go through at least 10 pairs of boxers and pants in one night.

Only game I wanted to run away from was Nightmare House 2, but most of that is just making you jump.
