It's normally not that dark during nighttime thunderstorms in vanilla oblivion, All Natural makes thunderstorms at night look like that. I'd put up a .gif to show that without the torch I was basically navigating by lightning flashes but Filesmelt is being a dick as of late.

yeah, there's a similar mod for fallout 3 that makes the night almost pitch black and another that adds street lights around the place, makes it really atmospheric and realistic considering you cant see anyone until they shoot at you, which also gives away their position

Morrowind overhaul is pretty darn cool, runs much smoother than i had expected too. Should have used some higher settings!
