I really wanted to get into Empire Total War, but it always crashed on me after an hour or so.
I want to get into games like total war, but I always feel like a back-seat gamer when I play RTS'.

That's why I like Men of War. Don't like how your units are doing stuff? Take direct control of them and do shit how you want it.

Kharkov 1943 is the latest English release. Operation Star is already out in Russia, and should be coming in English in the coming months.
The one with the Iran-Iraq War in it, Steel Armor: Blaze of War should come out in Russia no earlier than Fall 2011.
After that, Graviteam will make Achtung Panzer: Operation Rumyantsev, which takes place during the Belgorod-Kharkov Strategic Offensive Operation as part of the Kursk counteroffensives in August 1943.
Ill post some pics in a bit, but for now im wondering, is the witcher 2 worth it? Also what your opinion on brink?

the witcher 2 is more than worth it, it's the best rpg in years
as far as I've heard brink is a generic MP shooter
