I knew because I was one of only 4 people that was actually excited for the game, and not the BF3 early beta access.

I almost drowned in tears of joy at the announcement of MoH. That series is my all time favorite FPS series. I played it endlessly when I was younger. I went to pre-order it the day after it was announced.
Then I played the beta. :smith:

If they did an HD remake of Rising Sun, without touching a single thing except the graphics and updating the MP a bit, I would gladly pay a full $60 for it.

Anyone remember when these graphics were fucking amazing, especially those explosions with the dirt being tossed up? Back in Day of Defeat's early days there were plenty of custom sprites to re-create them

Back in that day, I was amazed to see moving lips and blinking eyes. My comp was so shit back then, the blinking eyes were black blocks and the mouths had no lips.
