I remember I played eve trial in 07' and I kept cursing and destroying everything and the mods told me to stop cursing and I was like,"lololol fuck you newb ahaha wat a luser"

It really has changed for the better.

You can get really decent ships through combat missions/mining missions in the beginning and getting a destroyer is quick.

I got a Trasher (Minmatar Destroyer) day 1 and now I'm working towards a Cruiser, which will take 2-3 days. :v:

I had a friend who owned, like, the most badass corp ever. [i]owned[/i] it. he gave me like the biggest most badass frigate ever and I'd just go around ramming in to AFK aircraft in friendly airspace until I finally got lost and pirates blew me up because I never armed it with anything.
