There's no visible difference between high quality jpeg and png in screenshots

PNG is usually still over 3 times larger so it's pointless to use it

Because there is no visible difference between a PNG and a high-quality (and much smaller) JPEG.

I've posted this before, but here's an example.

If you can tell the difference, you have better eyes than I do. Otherwise, the PNG is 3.7 times larger than the JPEG with [i]no visible difference[/i]. Why post PNGs when high-quality JPEGs look just as good and load much faster?
