On Taris there was a small Sith party in the apartments and you could swipe their armor once everyone passed out. It was used to get past Sith Guards to travel to the underground of Taris and find Mission.
Or alternatively he could have killed a Sith patrol to get the armor in some other apartments on Taris.

He most likely cheated the red sith commander armour, I don't recall it being available to loot anywhare.

You really should force anisotropic filtering on, will make any textures viewed at an angle not horribly blurry (like in the first screenshot)
Shouldn't even be a big performance hit, even at 16x

I'm hesitant to force AF, sometimes it fucks with the alpha channel which my SSAO depends on. I'll give it a go though, and rest assured that when my GTX 570 comes I'll be forcing both AA and AF as far as they can go, jaggies and texture-fuckery are incredibly apparent at this resolution.

No texture replacers that I've seen, at least not any huge ones, but KOTOR really doesn't need a huge makeover. It's aged extraordinarily well.

that's what the people said about Resident Evil 5 as well, and I enjoyed both nonetheless, just because of the great coop mode
Speaking of bondage, against my better judgement I downloaded a clothing mod with 'HGEC' in the name. 'HGEC Rogue Armor' or some shit, no1 on TESNexus. I'm not ashamed to admit that I really really wanted to like this, the clothing style in vanilla oblivion is so uninspired and some of these people are very very good at modelling and texturing. Anyway, I'm playing a thief type character, so I'm not gonna be hefting bastard swords and getting hit in the face with maces as a waif. SO I installed it.

This is honestly one of the better examples I've seen. It's really well made, though the futility of it is apparent the moment you put it on. It's obviously trying to be 'sexy', with the high heels and shit, but it fails because the animations in oblivion are so shit. All these clothing mods fail in their mission because your waif with square anime eyes has the same animations as a 6 foot nord. Worst thing is it''s either that or a terrible 'sexy walk' animation that looks like a catwalk model with her legs broken. Apparently the two states of aesthetic inspiration in the nexus are 'incredibly boring high fantasy' and 'ridiculous japanimation', with very few in between.
But I digress. My favourite part of this thing is that due to little glitch with deadly reflex I can see my character's chest when I cast spells.

we have the same card remember? you can turn AA off so you have HDR enabled, but force AA nonetheless through catalyst control center at the same time, works pretty damn fine

I play male and female characters, and I basically never use clothing mods like that because they're pointless (I only tried this because it looked [url=http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/39051-4-1308749707.jpg]better than the usual standard of top 100 mods these days[/url]). For female characters though I tend to gravitate towards custom races (basically just the races from xenius race compilation) as the vanilla head meshes are so utterly broken that I spend 10 minutes trying to make an aesthetically pleasing female character then give up as it's fucking impossible. Lore friendly it is not, but my blood pressure is kept nice and calm when I don't have to battle with the shitpile that is facegen.

This is the problem I have with alot of fantasy games, what the hell are the developers thinking? "Let's make a medieval fantasy fighting game... I know! Let's make all of the elven women into half-naked, bondaged super hot girls that reminds people of sex-slaves!". It ruins the whole fantasy atmosphere to be honest.

I ordered one just yesterday, it was the Palit dual-fan SONIC edition.
