Yeah, I have Halo OSX but I need to buy some dumb $5 disc from Gear Box/Bungie to play it on an Intel Mac which is dumb so I'm replaying Halo 2 PC.
I bought H2PC when it came out and a copy of Vista ultimate.
o0o0o0o0 boy...Mind you.. ultimate then was 240 dollars.

Best part is 08:43 (And the part anybody would really care about). The interaction system in Splinter Cell: Conviction is rather messed up.

Hey guys, this is kinda relevant I guess, does anyone know how to record both your mic and "what u hear" without getting the strange artifacting (More like the game sounds fucked up in the recording)?
I want to record some gameplay WITH sound from my mic and the game itself, but I keep getting the game sound fucked up.
I need to know this as I thought I'd record me and my friend (CaF) playing some games and we talk over Skype.
Fraps has a toggle to record Win7 sound (What you hear) and your microphone. I've never done both at the same time, but the What You Hear sound comes out as clear as you hear it

I see no option for that, however.
I can turn on Stereo mix on the Realtek properties, but that sends through Skype aswell and whenever I talk it fucks up the sound from the game (in the video).

I'm using version 3.03 I believe. There are updated versions but I tend not to update programs like this if what I'm using works just fine. Just check the External Input option and choose your Microphone/Sound Recording device you have enabled under your windows sound options
I'm using 3.4.3.

I'm literally getting the same model. Currently my old card is on sale, but I won't even bother to ask here since we're too much of enthusiasts, and you gotta really have a dated PC that a HD4870 still impresses you.

I think it's one third the fault of facegen for being crap, one third the fault of bethesda for not actually making the faces by hand but rather sticking them into a random face generator, and one third the fault of the face textures of being something ridiculous like 25x25.[/QUOTE]
In a podcast some time ago, they addressed this issue, said they would limit the power of face gen in a way so shit wouldn't look so doughy and wonky.
