Damn it, Codemasters knows how to make a pretty racing game with good performance. I'm still amazed how fast it ran on my 4870 given its visuals. Codemasters and crytek are probably top when it comes to overal visual quality for the performance.

LucasArts provided Steam with an older version of FoC and while there was a more current version, and you can't use the patch with the Steam version because the patch installer can't find the directory. They are however finally working on getting the Steam version compatible with the Non-steam.

That reminds me, can someone help me remember the name of a game? It was a sort of racing/driving simulator that you could download for free, you controlled the car using the mouse. It was a proper 3D game. Left click was the Gas, right click was the brake, and mouse movements steered the car. You could drive an F1 car in it too.

It's poorly optimized, there are usually no servers up (But playing with bots is good fun) and the maps are shit, and the you're better off ignoring gamemode objectives.

But other than that it's actually really fun and unique with the ballistics system, ammo system, and realistic damage and getting knocked down.

Sometimes you'll get knocked out and see pitch black and total silence for about 10 seconds because you got hit by a grenade, that happens a lot.
