I've found that using the numpad keys instead of the arrow keys for pitch in helicopters feels much better on my right hand

Game is crashing to desktop quite a bit now. I'm using the steam version, and it rarely did it when I was using the CDs.
At what point does it CTD? Near the end of loading? If so, reduce your texture setting. If it CTD's on startup, there are other guides on how to fix that.

I don't know if you guys knew or how long it's been happening, but I think they're starting to experiment with the same 200-player count limit in BF2.
Yesterday night there was one server with 120+ people on it, sponsored by the PR team. It was a gigantic cluster-fuck of bullets and bombs.
Now with my new laptop, i might reinstall PR and play with you guys again. However, BF2 doesn't detect my mic. Any ideas how to force it to?

Try going to your Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording Devices -> Set your microphone as the default device and/or disabling everything else.

Well I got banned from all the [H]ard servers because taking a defensive position at a capture point in one of their BF2 servers is considered camping.
No. Basically they got Guniv booted and have put the worst people possible as admins, specifically tdoyle. You can thank Erebus, the OP, as he was one of them iirc.
