Plugging for the clan I'm part of, I acknowledge that, but the members (Including me) are helpful and there's always at least one admin on. The server does suffer from periodical lag spikes but it's better than the other servers that crash all the time (This one doesn't).
Just make sure you read the rules before you go asset stealing and rushing uncaps. And don't bother trying to fly a helicopter if you can't do it well.

Most of them in general. It is a pretty common thing on the PR forums, WIN 7 users CTD when the map finishes loading with no error (even when windowed).
Try lowering your textures if it isn't specific maps. That's the general advice given. Failing that, put all your graphics settings to the lowest possible and work them up until you crash, then you can leave the one(s) causing it at the maximum without crash and increase the others to your liking.

Are your textures on high? There's a bug where having textures on high will make you CTD commonly / on map loading. Annoying, but not too big of a deal.
the people in PR are really friendly, me and some other guy got into an APC thing and I was the main turret gunner dude (it wasn't an APC but a 2 person tank type thing) and he was really patient and helped alot. Killed probably like 6 guys and he ran over another 4 or so. Was fun.

no, it's how the installer is made. Just download it with the torrents, it's the fastest.

most of the people are friendly. In all the time I played only 1 squad expected me to know EVERYTHING. Then again I was playing as specialist for the first time and had no idea how to use the rope.
