wonder if its possible to get a group going on tunngle
I tried the demo for DSI and it just didn't grab me like DSII has since I have gotten used to the mechanics...
DSIII is delayed til June now for more polish.. here's hoping!
I saw the film of this. My god was it amazing.

The film of what? Link?
EDIT: /facepalm -- Another Best Picture nominee ;)
Fun games.
And yes, the originals had guns in them before anyone flips their shit at DS3.
Yea, I'll update the thread with more content on Dungeon Siege III later, I just did a shitton of homework, and I need a break!
So many hours of fun sunk into the first Dungeon Siege game. My class of choice was Nature Mage/Ranger, just because I liked turning into bears and shit.
Anyone know if you'd still get Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 with Dungeon Siege 3 if you don't pre-order it? I really want 1 and 2 on Steam, but I can't justify plonking $50 on DS3 at the moment.
Fuck Wesrin Cross.
Once I forgot to blow up the barrel by the gate so when I finished the goddamn game the ending didn't trigger.

It's a pre-order deal, so no.
Does the steam version of Dungeon Siege / 2 contain the expansions? If so I might just grab that deal.
I played the fuck out of DS2. Too bad I don't have time or the disc now to try it again...
I'm thinking of pre ordering Dungeon Siege III, but I really want to see some more gameplay first.

I still have Legends of Aranna.
Never played it.
In Dungeon Siege 2, I decided to get as much Armour mounted on me as is humanly possible. I never die due to the Set bonuses and stuff. I just basically run into a gang of Mooks and I just use taunt.
I've got DS1, I heard there was a way to play multiplayer still, but I don't know how! As I'd love to play this online again. Haven't touched it in 6 years...
Is there local co-op? And how does it work?
Third time I change the question, sorry about that.
That gameplay is actually looking pretty cool. It looks a little too frantic for my tastes as I am LOVING DSII and it's strategy based action. It is great with all the mods available..
DSIII however, I still stick by my initial opinion: This game is gonna ROCK or totally SUCK. I no longer trust screenshots, video clips or marketing hype for ANY game..

You have reached enlightenment, gratz.
Updated the OP with more gameplay and other stuff.

I believe there is local co-op, not sure if theres any information on it, yet. I'm not sure if this site is reputable, but I found this. http://www.co-optimus.com/game/1943/pc/dungeon-siege-3.html

Ummm... laugh it up but why do you think companies are spending hundreds of millions on it? People get suckered into buying games via ads, screenies and paid off reviews. Don't tell me you have never done the same thing..

I suppose that there's drop-in/drop-out co-op at the PC, then. however I would like to know how it works.
I might have this pre-ordered at my birthday (the 22nd this month), but the co-op is what decides if I'm getting it for the PC or PS3.

Don't worry. I totally agree with ya. I used to get lured by hype and that kind of shit too.
Now I only get a game when half of my beloved FP agree that it's a cool game.
Fuck capitalism, everything is better with the people!!

Power to the people :) Yeah, I WANT to be hyped for DSIII and even preorder it to get DS I and DSII but I have burned so many times in the past, I just can't do it.
Can you... cancel Steam preorders?
Keep it. Who knows, maybe it will be cool. :buddy:
I remember this. Once one of my members was stuck for some reason. He was waaaaaay behind so I had to remove him.
That is what I mean though... this game will be out 3 days before the USA in Europe. I am sure there will be some reviews. If it receives HORRID reviews, I don't want to be stuck with the game.
It's Obsidian.
They do no wrong.
Sure, their games aren't exactly bug free but they always deliver solid narratives.
I tried this a while ago, but it ran at about 5 frames per second on my modern computer from 2008, and I could never figure out how to fix it. A shame, too, it seemed like a game I would enjoy.

DS I or DS II? I am LOVING DSII with mods and widescreen graphic tweaks. It's one of those games where the beginning and the cutscenes SUCK but when you get the hang of the game, I dare say it's better than Diablo II in some ways :O
