Am I the only one who doesn't download overpowered weapon / armor mods? I mean, what's the point?
The game has overpowered weapons in it all the time. If you find a daedric weapon at level 2 or 3 you're pretty much dominating everything in the game for the next 20 levels.

I mean, what's the point?
I swear I try to keep my game balanced, but seriously, don't you want to wear this? Also, the sexy armor syndrome: the less it covers, the better it protects you.
Is there a fucking compass mod because I'm 5 hours into the game and 3+ of them are spend searching.

Anyone actually know if the enemy spawns are based on skills or just character level?
Anyone actually know if the enemy spawns are based on skills or just character level?
I was pretty sure they don't scale according to you. Their items / weapons / armor, however, do.
This game requires you to actually read your journal and follow directions.
I was pretty sure they don't scale according to you. Their items / weapons / armor, however, do.
Different enemies spawn in the world depending on your level. [editline]22nd December 2010[/editline] I'm just not sure if skill levels have an effect.
This game requires you to actually read your journal and follow directions.
Sometimes it just says "North of..." and then you end up walking north from one point of the map to the other looking for a cave or mine or whatever.
Sometimes it just says "North of..." and then you end up walking north from one point of the map to the other looking for a cave or mine or whatever.
It's never very far, unless it says so. Usually it's just a 2 minute walk max.
[img_thumb]http://yourimg.in/j/7y9pjz.png[/img_thumb] UGHhghgh.
I love how their's walls between the vendor's shit and the vendor themselves. I stole a bunch of equipment from this armorer's store in balmora. Is -1 considered medium or is it something else, to?
Sometimes it just says "North of..." and then you end up walking north from one point of the map to the other looking for a cave or mine or whatever.
I like Morrowind's system better. It almost feels like cheating when a compass shows you exactly where to go.
So I started playing some mod at lvl 2. The first quest was to go help some chick who was, surprisingly, being banged by ordinators. I wait for her to kell one so that I can loot him and dive in the battle with my lvl 2... Turns out the fucker had a daederic blade on him.... There goes my "balanced" game.

It's not like you can kill ordinators at lvl 2. Plus, the bounty for killing one of them was far more than what I make in a month of fighter guild's jobs.
I was pretty sure they don't scale according to you. Their items / weapons / armor, however, do.
I don't think the items scale either. I ran into multiple enemies with crazy gear when I was something like level 2. That is why I love this game. You gotta be really sure who's buttons you gonna push, because it can kick you in the balls if you don't.
There are leveles lists for certain monsters. Those rats for example, in the roads, later become blighted hounds and even later big fat daedra trolls. But some others dont.
I get golden saints everywhere, it's a bitch.
Fffff--- ED guide is success.

He's loco if he thinks he's gonna get further than a few quests in at only level 2. Hell, it provided me with a challenge and I was at level 22.
if anyone wants to make a torrent of the ED mods set up and in working order you would be the most awesome person ever
if anyone wants to make a torrent of the ED mods set up and in working order you would be the most awesome person ever
I was thinking of doing that. Problem is that most modders don't want you reuploading their mods. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] But we can be Shhh about it
While the Almalexia replacer in the ED thread is good, I prefer this one. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7039&id=7365
