But do you get to live in a giant mushroom house and murder your way up to the top?
Morrowind was the best TES. God the memories I had playing this game. Secretly stealing, killing, and looting. So much fun. I think what really helped me in the beginning was stealing items as secretly as possible, then pawning them. That and raising unarmed to around 40 in Seyda Neen by punching mudcrabs.
Those mudcrabs, they're always skittering around.
We have a rival thread. http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1077803-You-ve-Never-Seen-Morrowind-Like-This.-OVERHAUL-EDITION.
Not our fault that person doesn't know how to search. Anyway I'm totally lost. I have no idea what to do next, all the mage guild quests are done, and I don't wana do the main quest. The only sidequests I have started at the moment are ones that would have me walk for hours on end just to deliver a package.
Would you recommend I do some thieves' guild quests? Or go to Solsthiem? Or what? Agh!
What can I do with my stuff? Does it work like in oblivion (leaving things lying around or in chests means they disappear) or not?
Also, how do you know if opening a chest is considered stealing? (or is it never?)
They don't disappear. And it's generally only thought of as stealing if someone sees you do it. :3:

Also found this mod that might help those who hate Morrowind's combat get into it.

Pretty sure that some chests respawn, not too sure though.

Yeah, don't even think of going to Solsthiem until around level 25, it's really god damn hard.
I'm in Mournholm or whatever at the moment doing some investigation into the Dark Brotherhood, not gunna fight or anything.

That's for wooses, when I installed Bloodmoon I started a whole new game and went there on my first level. That's the real shit.

And I'm sure you died quite easy yes?
I have barely any quests done (probably around 20) and I have no idea how far in the game I've come, is there any way to see how many quests I've done to compare to the total number? At the moment I'm helping a guy find his friend in Mournholm.
[editline]14th April 2011[/editline]
Holy shit I [sp]got a note from Thrud about some guy being held captive and writing this to keep him sane, is it possible to actually find the guy? Don't tell me where it is or anything, but is it possible?[/sp]
[editline]14th April 2011[/editline]
[sp]They were vampires who captured him. Perhaps once I level up, a trip to Bloodmoon (is that the vampire/werewolf place) is in order.[/sp]
[editline]14th April 2011[/editline]
Ugh, I feel so bored! I have no idea where to go to get quests and stuff and have fun, but I have one right now where I am currently searching for the DB. I'm gunna do some Thieve's guild quests after that I suppose. Or explore the wilderness of Mournholm.

Werewolves are the ones only added/found in Bloodmoon, Vampires are in Morrowind.
mournhold
Or explore the wilderness of Mournholm.
Hate to break it to you, but Morunhold doesn't have a wilderness, it's just the city.
Hnnnnnnngh! What exactly does Tribunal and Bloodmoon add? I know Bloodmoon adds the huge snow lands, but what does Tribunal add? And how would I go - ahghaghg.
I'm so overwhelmed by all the stuff I don't know what to do, someone point me in a direction.

Main quest will tell you what to do. Ignore Bloodmoon for a good while. Tribunal will send an annoying assassin after you, initiate the Tribunal MQ after that, to stop assassins from constantly attacking you. Then ignore it until Morrowind MQ is done.

you've been talking about content added by tribunal for the past page
Morrowind thread must live!
Why do we have 3 threads on one series of games?
Why do we have 3 threads on one series of games?
Because the elder scrolls is so epic it need three threads
I'll just leave this here too :v:
Made this a while back:

So I've amassed ~10k gold and an Ebony Longsword and I have no idea what to spend it on, I go hand-to-hand, unarmored and I'm a mage. Only thing I could really use it on is spells but I don't really need any spells... So what do I put 10k to good use? Also I'm only like level 4 so my stats are kinda eh, but all my magickas are 40+
