What are these ingredients you speak of in spellmaking? I think you got alchemy mixed in there.
Anybody know what the best graphics mod is for this?
Morrowind Graphics Extender + every major texture and model overhaul mod I could find.
I've never heard of it. What is this.
An open-source remake of the engine. http://openmw.com/wiki http://openmw.com/forum
Because I'm going to bump a 2 month old thread. Why do you think there is a Minecraft v49?
Because Minecraft threads were popular enough to reach 49 versions.
I've never really had problems with the combat system.
This. Never really had any problems with Cliff Racers either. They're easy to kill.
Morrowind Graphics Extender + every major texture and model overhaul mod I could find.
Could you list the ones you used?
The last thread had a fucking incredible list of graphics mods, as well as just about every mod you could ever need. All in favour of bumping the old thread in all it's content filled glory? Whoever made the last OP was also much sexier and smarter, or so I assume.
trying to do that "super potion" glitch where you make a fortify intelligence potion to make a better fortify intelligence potion and keep doing this until you become the king of everything it's not working so far
Let's just bump it.
trying to do that "super potion" glitch where you make a fortify intelligence potion to make a better fortify intelligence potion and keep doing this until you become the king of everything it's not working so far
I did this before. I ended up making potions that would last days, and some incredibly overpowered enchantments. Also, if you do become successful with this, don't make strength potions. You will break the most durable weapons in a couple of hits.
What about the elderscrolls thread :colbert:
Just reinstalled, and MGE isn't working. Whenever I start up Morrowind, it says that it can't find the MGE settings file, even though I've already altered settings inside of MGE and it remembers them. Any help? edit: nevermind, wasn't running MGE as an admin
I know most everyone who's played both says Morrowind is better but I'm now level 10 and I've played through quite a bit of Morrowind and it seems like all my quests and objectives so far have just been like running errands going back and forth talking to people. There has been a couple times where I've had to do a bit of fighting or explore a dungeon/ruin but those times have been VERY few and VERY far between. Also, Vivec is the hardest fucking city I've had to navigate on any game ever and I was disappointed to learn I couldn't compete in the arena.
What are these ingredients you speak of in spellmaking? I think you got alchemy mixed in there.
It looks like I did. Whoopsies. I'll fix that in a second. It's either this or play Oblivion. I'm too lazy to write down all the faults in Oblivion so I'm going to give you a link to a series of videos where a guy covers everything I'd probably say. Just keep clicking from part 1, 2 and finally to 3.
I really still need to get ahold of this game
This game looks pretty modern when you have all the graphical mods for it. Kinda funny considering how old it is. I originally had this game for Xbox, it was the one thing that finally ended my Runescape addiction.
Game takes forever to load on the Xbox. It's ridiculous.
Game takes forever to load on the Xbox. It's ridiculous.
Exactly. The PC version: Buy it instead.
This game looks pretty modern when you have all the graphical mods for it. Kinda funny considering how old it is. I just use the Unofficial Patch and Ultimate Morrowind Anti-Lag Mod. I like the game's original visuals. However if you're the person who likes HDR/Bloom and stuff like that then whatever. Come to think of it I don't like HDR or Bloom in any of my games.

My experience is that on Oblivion, a lot of the quests actually have me doing fun things while on Morrowind 99% of the quests I've done are "Go to Y and talk to X and then come back and talk to me"
Let's just bump it.
I spent ages writing the fucking morrowind section of the OP for you people, how come we suddenly need so many TES threads goddamn
Morrowind Graphics Extender + every major texture and model overhaul mod I could find.
Now I'm really interested in what nature, grass and landscape mods you used.
I never understood why I could never hit anyone with a sword, just because i trained with a shortsword
I never understood why I could never hit anyone with a sword, just because i trained with a shortsword
Low agility perhaps?

Also Oblivion had so little quests that you could literally do them all in one playthrough. It was Mage's Guild, Fighter's Guild, Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood. I've only done the Dark Brotherhood and even then they had around 15 or 20 quests that didn't take long. I put 20 hours into Oblivion and then became very very bored. I've put around 50 hours into Morrowind and I still go to play in my free time. That is, when I'm not programming or playing Minecraft. And besides that, if you did the main quest and you had to go into all the oblivion gates... Oh my fucking god that was boring. It was just "run around in the same place every time that never changes until you find a stone then you take the stone and leave" or something along those lines. [editline]13th December 2010[/editline]
I fucking HATED Vivec.
Yeah I agree. Jesus that was annoying. Once you realized where all the "canoe" guys were (or whatever the boats were called) and realized how the basic structure of the buildings were it wasn't that awful. Vality's grass mod does the nature shit. It's fucking awesome. [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7762 This.

Now I'm going to hunt down those tree models. [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Also, has anyone got Wrye Mash to work on Windows 7 64?
