True, and this thread is quite dead most of the time. Perhaps an elder scrolls modding thread, and then the megathread?
Agreed. I'm a amateur modder (and the Wiki is only for Oblivion, I want to mod Morrowind damn you!) and I'd love an Modding MEgathread.

The furthest I've gotten was basic on activate scripting on items, but the construction set is a nice little thing.

Morrowind's become hard to play for me, simply because I know too much. I know where everything is, I've already gotten it, I've already been through about 5 giant waves of mod installing.

Rage at the amount of Cliff Racers. Deinstall. 2. Be too much Oblivion-ized and rage at not finding quest target. 3. Just having an attention span of an potato doesn't help either.

But Cliff racers are easy as a mage, and I always loved not having quest markers.

I know, but sometimes I just hate not finding my quest target because I am stupid and either didn't read the dialogue or am too stupid to read it correctly. Also done installing Morrowind again, now for the DLC.
Stealth was useless. Tried it, how the hell do I rob someones house if he is always at home and never leaves?
Haha, Stealth. Useful for occasional x4 damage, but apart from that, unless you've got 100% Chameleon, you're screwed.

(also added you on steam) And that we are the only one conversing here. Got a nice mod to share?

Mod: You probably already know, but the morrowind code patch. More obscure: Probably all the tel urvirith town mods.
sorry for the bump, reposting this stuff because im installing morrowind on a laptop to kill time, and it took me an eternity to find my own post because it was in a different thread. Reposting it here for future reference
Yep, here you go http://www.psychodogstudios.net/betterbodies/downloads.php http://www.mediafire.com/?dmo22nt3j2m http://www.psychodogstudios.com/betterclothes/index.php?mod=0 http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=7401 and MGE XE of course http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26348 (MGE XE needs to be installed on top of the other MGE) I just installed a robe replacer that matches the "better bodies" but I got it from some Russian website so the robe names are all fucked. Also, i think only the female versions were included. The "good" download link requires registration at some backwater shit-ass forum (fuck that) so I'll just re-upload them to filefront or something for everybody else's convenience. [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] Heres the robe replacer http://www.gamefront.com/files/20222097/IceNioLiv_RobeReplacer.zip
That robe replacer is a bitch to download, so I uploaded it elsewhere ^

Adds dynamic sunlight shadows on world objects. thats the most notable change, theres probably other things but those Im not eally sure about. That post just contains stuff for a "clean" morrowind graphics overhaul. Human body and cloth replacers, and MGE EX for distant land and dynamic shadows. Makes the game look more modern without getting rid of the morrowind feel.

Only thing is that my depth of field and my sun shafts aren't working anymore, do you know how to fix them? And the light going off everything is freaken stunning, I was just charging at an enemy getting ready to strike him and oh my god looking at the sun hitting my shield then moving off as I was walking forward was amazing, and no damn FPS hit at all.
MGE XE is just a rewritten and better optimized version, with Dynamic Shadows. It's still being worked on and once it's been completely rewritten I believe the guy working on it said he'll start adding in more features the original doesn't have.
Stealth was useless. Tried it, how the hell do I rob someones house if he is always at home and never leaves?
There was a mod that gave NPCs schedules. Here: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=676 Works pretty well. It has some bugs though.
Everytime I force myself to re-install Morrowind, I have a blast until about 3 hours in, then I get distracted by something in the distance and end up getting killed, flipping my shit and not playing it again. One day, one day, I will finish Morrowind.
