I've done it before, before I reformatted. Though it isn't working at this exact moment, probably something to do with Python.
Vality's grass mod does the nature shit. It's fucking awesome.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7762 This.
That looks sexy. :)
I will forever and always consider this the greatest game of all-time.
Some idiot bumped the old thread. (I assume because I made this one)
I made a new one for two reasons:
1.) The old thread was a couple pages back.
2.) This is for Morrowind only, not for Oblivion, Arena or Daggerfall.
It's better to have a general Elder Scrolls thread
It's better to have a general Elder Scrolls thread
I totally agree but bumping the old one when we already have this one doesn't make much sense.
When threads are old you make new ones. :)
It's either shit your pants at anything tougher then you/you can't hit for shit, or the horrific leveling system they had for Oblivion.
Its really not hard to avoid enemies that are tougher than you. What I like about morrowind is that you don't feel bad for playing like a cheap asshole, levitate up to that ceiling and throw fireballs down on non-magic enemies :v:
Also, I picture I took

Ugh, can anyone help me? In Vivec, for the main quest I just met up with Huleeya, I persuaded the people not to murder him for being a free man and then told him to follow, I went out of the room, and he's nowhere to be found. I tried 'RA' in the console, not sure what else to try?
I know most everyone who's played both says Morrowind is better but I'm now level 10 and I've played through quite a bit of Morrowind and it seems like all my quests and objectives so far have just been like running errands going back and forth talking to people. There has been a couple times where I've had to do a bit of fighting or explore a dungeon/ruin but those times have been VERY few and VERY far between.
Also, Vivec is the hardest fucking city I've had to navigate on any game ever and I was disappointed to learn I couldn't compete in the arena.
Vivec is indeed a manifestation of HELL, at leats that's what I imagine hell will be like. A place where theres slots of huge, hard to traverse buildings that all look identical to one another.
But yeah, make good use of Mark/Recall, and likewise Almsivi Intervention and Divine Intervention. Makes doing the boring errand quests easier. Just mark at a mages guild teleporter so you can move between cities. Or if you are a mage, create a powerful Jump spell. Nothing beats leaping across the entire map.
oh my god, nostaliga, and i cant find my fucking disc
fuuuuuck!
Before my graphics card died I had Morrowind thoroughly pimped out with MGE and the like.

Cool thread actually. MAD COOL THREAD.
where the FUC K IS JUID
Anyone know if there's a "teleport to player" console command for NPC's?
Holy fuck I need MGE now
I don't get how you guys have trouble running Morrowind well, I get around 200 FPS unmodded and about 120 modded.

Basically what it looks like modded.

Figured it out, it was: huleeya -> placeatme huleeya 1 0 0 0
The numbers after huleeya being the # to place, followed by how far from you it should be spawned.

ugh, FUCK vivec
There are banners, but I'll be damned of I can remember which looks like which, so I have to run op to every door to check where it goes. It isn't helped by making the interior of each canton the exact same.

Generic.Monk make a new Elder Scrolls thread and include Skyrim

The old one is on the front page and active so why would he make a new one and not just edit the OP of the old one?
The old one is on the front page and active so why would he make a new one and not just edit the OP of the old one?
Op is perma'd, but yeah, the whole reason I haven't made another one is the current one is still active.
I don't really think I need to watch videos when I've put a lot of time into both. My experience is that on Oblivion, a lot of the quests actually have me doing fun things while on Morrowind 99% of the quests I've done are "Go to Y and talk to X and then come back and talk to me"
Oblivions quests are like this, "Oh hey thanks for joining the mages guild, not a mage? No problem, all you'll be doing is mindlessly killing necromancers."
What bothered me about Oblivion was that the guild quests were so centered around you. Go kill some necromancers, okay, now kill this necromancer.. now these ones, oh look at that, you are the guildmaster now. Despite only having spent 3 days in the guild.
In fact, that's what bothered me most. The game was centered around you, and the main quest was so hurried. Deliver the amulet, Now you have to RUSH TO KVATCH before they slaughter martin! Now we must RUSH back to weynon priory, then we must RUSH to the temple, now you must hurry back to the imperial city to find out who these assholes are, etc.
In morrowind the blades guy is all like:
Chillax, bro, go get some training, maybe loot some dungeons, work for some guilds, and then come back in a week. Or we could do it now, its up to you, buddy
I can't even remember, did Oblivion have soul gems? Half of my time in Morrowind was just spent collecting soul gems for no apparent reason.
Yes it did. Not quite as valuable as in Morrowind, though. Did wish morrowind had black soul gems, though. That was a nice improvement to Oblivion. Though the ritual was really stupid. I wish you could just collect a bunch of magical ingredients, then go to some sort of alter and whip up a black soul gem.
Oblivions quests are like this, "Oh hey thanks for joining the mages guild, not a mage? No problem, all you'll be doing is mindlessly killing necromancers."
This.
Dark Brotherhood Quests: Okay, first all we want you to do is wait in one spot for 8 hours, then kill the guy that walks by. Oh and we're mixing it up by making you have to do variations of this. Instead of just slashing a guy you have to find his discrete medicine cabinet and fuck with this medicine. Or you have to drop an elk's head on him.
[sp]Then you get to slaughter all of your family.[/sp]
Then you get to do an even more boring "find and kill" like what happened when you first joined, except to get a shitty 200 GP reward you have to go on a 20 minute walk into the middle of the forest to get it.
Then after all of these shitty quests are over, you get to have your fancy-blade enchanted so it can do less than Sufferthorn could for about 20 attacks as opposed to Sufferthorn's 100.
Oh yeah. I love Oblivion quests.

Aren't you the OP's alt?
[editline]15th December 2010[/editline]
I'm thinking of playing morrowind again. I suck at it so I want a good build. Anybody know any good builds? I'm leaning toward magic as its stronger than melee and well just feels better overall. Anyone got tips?
Aren't you the OP's alt?

yup
yup
Didn't you get banned for another alt? How many alts have you had?
