Where will you be buying the server from?

Survival We can maybe have clan wars? Factions? or maybe a role playing server where everybody relies on the community will be nice as well.

Factions is really overdone, and usually done not very well. I should think maybe a server which rewards exploration? (This could be helped by mods which add other worlds, eg SPACEEEE or SphereMod etc..) [editline]7th July 2011[/editline] Also, RP is boring as hell

Wonderful! you guys are hosting again! I would donate but I only have 38 cents. there I just donated it from snowboard_64 It would be nice if the server had the Essentials economy plugin, there could be a general store where you could buy/sell basic things like wood and coal.

I think the server should be survival, and it should have pvp. However, pvp should only be aloud outside of towns.

Try to keep it somewhat simple, have chest protection ONLY in the spawn town, so that the apartments don't become severely deserted by people (people have incentive to have an apartment to keep their valuables, but try to keep rules on griefing down so people can have some good PVP fun, Please don't go crazy with plugins and have "starter gift basket" or whatever, it's really just kind of silly to have that kind of thing, I'm fairly certain people could sell that kind of stuff and hold out debts if they really wanted to, or give them out out of good heart, but starter sets are generally geyh

bwahahahaha None of those mods are compatible. Or even have SMP versions AFAIK.
