Yeah, Jacob was a really weird character. Not like Mordin weird, just surprisingly boring. It's like they wanted to make a character but ran out of time. Great abs though.

I felt he was more down to earth. Everyone else has some kind of weird story behind them. Jacob felt like Kaidan, only not as ass-numbingly boring. 'Course I didn't use him since I was a biotic and Wrex replaces him easily.
He mentioned his spin off game once or twice and represents a point of view for Shepard as to why s/he should work for Cerberus. After that he just says "I'm good, Shepard" and they share a bro hug. He was the one character that didn't really excite me when I asked him questions about his past.

When presented with a plethora of characters with a unique past (Miranda and Grunt being genetically grown and created, Mordin being a former STG member, Jack being Jack), the guy with a normal background will seem more boring and dull compared to the others. Like I said, he's more down to earth, almost similar to Shepard. Just not as unique.
I reckon it's probably the geth tampering with it to experiment, since IIRC they want to create a dyson sphere.

Whenever I hear of Dyson Sphere, I always think about the Dyson roller ball for their vacuums.

I just want to jump in here and say that Controllers are not that bad when you get used to it. I have played throught both ME games on console and i can say that i am, For now, Better there. To me it just feels more streamlined with the layout
I recently tried ME2 on PC and fuck me i could almost not aim for an hour. Then the sensitivity settings were a bit strange to me, I mean even at the lowest sense i still overshot everything
I got better, But to me it just feels better with a controller. Just an opinion and i suppose with time i would have gotten better

The Grunt one is hilarious.

In the first couple of screenshots, their Silhouttes still remain.
Also, how did Urz get on the ship.
I like Jacob for his status as the only sane person.

I watched Spaceballs just last weekend.
Fair point. I understand his motivation for doing things, but I find the idea of working with Cerberus a lot more of a problem than he does. Hopefully they'll expand on his character in 3.

It's a great movie and you should be proud for watching it
Christina Norman, Lead Gameplay Designer for ME2 and formerly for ME3, married and moved out of Edmonton, resigning from Bioware.
Preston Watamuniak, Lead Designer for ME1-3 will be replacing her.
Note that Preston and Casey Hudson worked together before on Knights of the Old Republic.

Maybe he was related to Tali's porn?

I hope that means return of things that were cut form ME2, like inventory.
I hate how all the moral compass characters are so boring though. Like Jacob, or Ashley. I liked Kaiden more than Jacob. I guess Jacob was kind of bro, but boring.

Must have missed the word cultural, which eliminates everything but Rachni, a culture which the player can literally ignore almost completely except as a generic rushdown enemy.
Just because Mass Effect does not explicitly explain in depth its science concepts like mass relays and the genophage, that does not mean that they are not fictional science
it doesn't use the applied inherent principles either. That's pretty much the exact definition, which btw has jack shit to do with Wikipedia. The term Sci Fi wasn't a marketing term, nor is it a consensus determinator. It was coined by Ackerman as a corollary to those who wrote it, not those who read it, which pretty much throws your opinionated redefining out the window. SyFy != Sci Fi.

Watamuniak actually already had a higher position in Bioware than Christina. She referred to him as her boss, and said that his boss was Hudson.
