I didn't spend much of my time scanning planets, especially not "half my time", and I always had enough resources for anything. I didn't think it was that bad.

I stopped at my first playthrough since there are no real incentives to keep on playing. Maybe get to level 30 on Hardcore, but it doesn't seem to harness any real reward.

Tch, bought Mass Effect for the PC, more than meet the recommended settings, game runs like shit no matter what I do, decide to update my drivers, game works perfectly, but it's late so I go to bed. Wake up the next day, go to play it and IT RUNS LIKE SHIT AGAIN ARGGHH. It's kinda bugging me on why it's doing that, my friend even borrowed the xbox version of it for me so I can play it... But... I'd rather play it on my pc :(

I'd leave some time before another playthrough to be honest.

If you do it every now and then and not just when you need the resources, then it's not so bad. I made sure to mine a few planets every time I visited a new system and it was honestly not that bad.

Planet Scanning isn't that bad honestly, it gets a little annoying having to lift my mouse, bring it back on my desk, and drag it again, but otherwise? I have no problem with it.

Yeah the mouse was a little awkward but it was a bit better once you get miranda's upgrade.
