I love the collector's edition covers for like every game, they're always really subtle and made for fans, unlike the regular box covers. Remember, the whole point of the cover is for it to stand out on the shelves.

I still love Tali but the rachni are just so much more awesome than the quarians.

I rather say the Rachni (True ones) are more peaceful and sometimes more sympathetic then the Geth IMO.

I think it's understandable that the quarians tried to shut down the geth, I mean, they were intended to just be machines. If a computer begins to do something it's not meant to, you shut it down, reprogramme it, and start again.
Of course, it's equally understandable that the geth fought back once they realised what was happening.

I have a feeling both sides committed war crimes against each other because of misunderstandings. Though I have a feeling the Quarians knew exactly they committed a genocide against sentient machines. Seriously, all these philosophical questions the Geth kept asking their creators... the Quarians were just fed up their cheap machine slave workers were thinking for themselves and not obeying anymore.

Scared, not fed up. AIs are illegal under galactic law. They realised that they had inadvertantly created one, and quite justifiable feared that their creation would turn on them, so they acted first and tried to shut them down before there was bloodshed.

I've always just loved those badass hivemind creatures that any good Sci-fi series has. The flood in Halo scared the shit out of me, Zerg in SC2, tyranids in 40k, and the rachni in ME. I'm glad I can actually ally with the rachni though.
