Mass Effect Megathread - Ah, yes, titles. We have dismissed that claim - Games

Quarians are definately the suckiest with the exception of Tali. Krogan, Asari, Turians are the best every other alien can suck it. Asari usualy have the best voice actors in game. I don't really like any of the lead human characters. Ashley sucks, Kaiden sucked, Jacob sucked. Pretty much Joker, Miranda, & Possibly Jack (though lately Jack annoys me) are probably the only likable human characters oh and the Doc i like her! I always liked hearing Liara & the rest of the Asari's talk. Liara espeacialy in the first game had this pressence that made me not want to skip her conversations like i did with Kaiden & Ashley. Also after hearing Monrinth talk about Shepard being the only one to survive her "Seduction" I immeditaly thought of the movie Decoys with those Aliens who had sex with males and froze them after. Oh damn how could i forget Kasumi! yes! Kasuma is definately one of my favorite Human characters. I enjoy having Kasumi, Garuss, or Liara (for the brief time you had her) in the party. Either one of them always lighten the mood. Jacob has SOME funny lines but he's usualy boring. I like to use him sometimes because of his barrier and coating the bullets with fire ability. Other than that he can die off!

Whatever Kelly says when you ask her about her loving aliens. I can't quite recall the exact dialogue but I agree with that she mentions. Although if I'd have to choose, my favorite race would probably be the Krogan, since they're fucking awesome.

I like Krogan mainly because of Wrex and i like to kill Krogan because they're often dumb and have good lines when killing them. I can't remember the exact dialogue but i'm sure ME1 had a similiar sequence in which a Krogan mocked you and then got killed (In ME2 the shooting the propane thingy). Who could hate Krogan though they're basicaly the Vikings on ME. A Krogan had arguably one of the most memorable lines in ME2. *Commander headbutt* "You.....you dare". It was probably the only time i actualy laughed in ME2. Can't forget about the Asari who tried to run in Miranda's main quest only to get shot by the other Asari and fly across the room.

Krogan are bad ass guys who tell it like it is Turians have a lot of military pride, which I respect Asari I find intriguing. They've been around a long time, and no doubt have a lot of interesting stories to tell. Rachni are space lobster, and as such, delicious.

Just finished Mass Effect, it was actually pretty awesome, although a bit of graphical issues, other than that, it was amazing, storyline-wise it was very immersive, gameplay-wise it was very effective in how they executed the combat system, I didn't find any glitches other than that bloodey rover flipping whenever you took it over a ramp. Hopefully will get Mass Effect 2 sometime soon, hopefully tomorrow, to carry on the story :buddy:

Btw was anyone else disapointed with Jack? they whored her out to be this godly powerful biotic and then you get her and her abilities are pretty basic. She's not even as powerful as Samara's daughter. You can pretty much get her Shockwave ability at the start of the game. She should have had something other than that warp ammo crap. You look at the purgatory video and you see her flipping over shit and stomping the ground and what not. Where the hell was that ability?

Hmmmm idunno, when you pick adept Shepard and get shockwave & dominate (or stasis but i rather have dominate) Sherpard pretty much becomes more of a god than Jack. I literaly took out most fleshies without Garuss & Miranda's help with dominate. I may have used Miranda's overload to get their shields down first. Meh....you can still get Jack in your party if you wanna spam shockwaves together. Miranda pretty much comes in handy more with warp, overload, & Slam...which IMO is superior to Jack's "loyal" power.

I think the Geth could be pretty interesting, like if/when you see the heretics you reprogrammed. And it's confirmed you are going to the Quarian home world, and I think it would be very interesting if you try to gain their loyalty to fight off the Reapers, and it would be really cool if you could maybe get them accepted back by the Citadel and the rest of the galaxy. Really I just want to meet some more Geth like Legion who aren't massive dicks like the heretics. Looking at the Collector ship, I can't help but wonder it's origin. Was it Prothean? Or something else? What's the deal with the mixture of refined metals and what looks to be massive chunks of raw rock that make up the ship?

I lurve Salarians! So glad we got Mordin in Me2.

Salarians are all nerds lol. Everytime i see one i just want it to get poked in the eyes. Infact props to Bioware if they make a death like that possible in ME3. On ME3, what would make me happy with ME3 is cannibal aliens who look like mutated sharks.! Shark aliens nao. We need to see some more wildlife too. They gave us the thresher maws but we need some other giant man eating shit!
