That squid on their head spreads open and drops an egg.
I don't know where I saw it but there was an image of Shepard and Liara canoodling and Liara's head tentacles were in a mess, it was sweet but kind of strange. I always wondered if Asari's head tentacles were hard or if they were actually movable. Edit - Found it, i'm a fucking wizard.
I hope I'm not late to the party, but a new "screenshot" has floated onto the web. This shows the alternate outfits for Kaiden, Ashley, James Vega and Liara. Don't click if you don't want to spoil appearances. I'm...undecided. Kaiden looks awesome and I really like Liara's outfit...but Vega looks like "generic douchebag #87" and Ashley...well yeah.
I wonder if Asari have vaginas
They're hermaphrodites, it's either the johnson or the pus.

I actually did go back four pages to see if you guys had talked about it. Turns out I should have gone back five pages :P

General consensus seems to be that Vega looks like a douche.

For science.
Yeah it was posted 4-5 pages back. I know Bioware (or EA, or both) are trying to attract the Gears of War/Call of Duty crowd...but they seem to be sacrificing a bit of integrity in order to do so. Then again, I've always been opposed to their mindset that it's somehow okay to jump into the finale of a story-driven trilogy without seeing the first two.
There's not a full-size version of that, is there? For science.
We think alike, you and I. But no, that is the full size of the image.
Besides from being a bit beefy, there is honestly nothing wrong with him.
Actually, my problem with him lies in only one area: His head. His face and expression makes him look unintelligent, his hairstyle is just...ugh, and he looks VERY generic.
Actually, my problem with him lies in only one area: His head. Basically if a guy today was put onto some secret government agency's team.
Fuck. My graphics card is too fried to play this game continuously anymore.
He's technically supposed to be the generic Alliance Marine that is thrust into Shepard's crew and thus the mess he's created. Basically if a guy today was put onto some secret government agency's team.
Well, here's hoping Bioware can write him in properly. Maybe I'm just being a bit of an elitist, but I just don't like the idea of...well, "dudebros" all jumping into Mass Effect 3 because of how awesome the combat looks and how sexy the girls are. I work at Gamestop and I've actually had guys say that they flat-out refuse to play Mass Effect 1 and 2 because "The combat looks like crap and RPG." They are, however, very excited about Mass Effect 3 because the combat looks awesome. Maybe I'm just selfish.
I think Vega fits the "jarhead thrown into the mix of things" look pretty well. Also, keep in mind that that's an alternate outfit. His normal look could be something significantly less douchey. I think it's great that more casual gamers are looking forward to ME3. Maybe it will inspire them to play ME1 and ME2, opening their eyes to the amazing world of RPG's that are often overlooked by the casual gamer. A lot of kids see cheesy shit like WoW and think it represents all RPGs, if the posterchild role could be replaced by the Mass Effect series, a lot of light could be breathed into the genre.

And some partly shaved gorilla in a suit of armour shouldn't be dumped into Sheps squad.
Actually, my problem with him lies in only one area: His head. His Hairstyle is also a military mohawk, not really that unusual. Also, how is he generic? Just cause he's not alien? You don't have to look all CRUHZZY to be unique, imo. (Sorry if I came off as hostile in this :ohdear:)
Of course a random guy shouldn't be put onto a secret government agency team. And some partly shaved gorilla in a suit of armour shouldn't be dumped into Sheps squad.
Well Bioware needed to add someone in to appeal to the CoD/GoW crowd, hopefully they'll make him a well developed character. What other games are Bioware developing right now besides Mass Effect 3?
Of course a random guy shouldn't be put onto a secret government agency team. And some partly shaved gorilla in a suit of armour shouldn't be dumped into Sheps squad.
You're not the story writer, we'll see what they make up.

And some partly shaved gorilla in a suit of armour shouldn't be dumped into Sheps squad.
Keep in mind that Shepard was kind of thrust into things the same way. He was just an exceptional soldier doing his job, and happened to have the entire fate of the galaxy thrown into his lap. Also, I think it represents the desperate nature of ME3, at this point average joes have to step up and become heroes.
I think Vega fits the "jarhead thrown into the mix of things" look pretty well. Also, keep in mind that that's an alternate outfit. I'll be honest, I'm just worried that Bioware is focusing on the wrong audience. What I've seen of Mass Effect 3 looks INCREDIBLE (save for the on-rails sequence), but I'm still nervous about it.
What other games are Bioware developing right now besides Mass Effect 3?
The Old Republic, Dragon Age 2 content, possibly Dragon Age 3.
I'll be honest, I'm just worried that Bioware is focusing on the wrong audience.
I understand the want for money, as everyone does. But attempting to attract more people to the last game of the trilogy is fucking stupid, maybe they're just not marketing the change well. Maybe they are not trying as hard as it seems to get everyone to play the last fucking game and they are catering to those who have played the previous games. Or maybe they don't care and want money.

(Sorry if I came off as hostile in this :ohdear:)
He looks generic quite simply because there's nothing about his face or his visible demeanor that suggests anything unique. Military haircut? Check. Grizzled face? Check. Furrowed brow with a "tough guy" look on his face? Check. THAT'S my problem. Hell, just look at Kaiden. He's rockin' some thick hair, he looks badass yet intelligent, and his armor is not overdone. This has actually been my problem with Bioware's marketing and the promo shots of default male Shepard. The promo shots make him look like a colossal douche. His ingame appearance looks MUCH better.
You shouldn't be judging characters by a shitty promo shot, I can understand where you are coming from though. His Hairstyle is also a military mohawk, not really that unusual. Also, how is he generic? Just cause he's not alien? You don't have to look all CRUHZZY to be unique, imo. (Sorry if I came off as hostile in this :ohdear:)
Because he looks like someone out of a THQ game with just as much characterization. At this point in ME2's or ME1's development we at least had an idea of who/what some of the characters were in those games, the fact that they've not really given us anything about Vega besides his name and a two-sentence description is kind of concerning.
Well Bioware needed to add someone in to appeal to the CoD/GoW crowd, hopefully they'll make him a well developed character. TOR I don't really care about because I don't have the income for MMOs.

Or maybe they don't care and want money.
That is EXACTLY my problem. I don't remember which Bioware executive said it, but the quote was "Mass Effect 3 is a great entry point for new players!" That was literally the worst videogame-related quote I've heard in a good long while, and I include just about everything Bobby Kotick has said.
Calm down, players who don't play all 3 games will likely get fucked over by the default choices. Like in ME2 where Wrex is dead if you don't play ME1.
The Old Republic and Dragon Age 3. Here's hoping DA3 will be good. TOR I don't really care about because I don't have the income for MMOs.
DA3 might be better then DA2, but definitely not as good as DA1. Origins didn't really feel as though it was meant to be a trilogy, and was only given that task after EA discovered Fantasy games can actually make serious money. Besides, the lobotomized the game entirely to appeal to the ME2 crowd and they'll likely keep the same system for DA3, which is just aching for disaster.
I wish they had kept Vega's name as Sanders. Then I could make KFC jokes whenever he was talking.
Ay, and it could have been a great connection to Kahlee.
I wonder if Asari have vaginas
They do, or at least an equivalent of it.
