no I didn't complain about the mako, elevators, loading screens, the hammerhead, etc
undermining someone by making him look like a dumb hater and using tons of swear words is a cheap way to win an argument, i was simply expressing some concerns
I think sltungle wasnt even arguing with you, but like he said, people that say similar things in general. We had like 20 pages (a few threads ago) filled with people whining about "omg me3 is gonna be like da2 its RUINED". And to be truthful, your "argument" pretty much looks like that. You took his post quite literally.

fuck, wheres colbert when you need him
It wasn't directed at you, it was directed at everyone who's freaking out unreasonably, you just happened to be the most recent example of someone doing so. I'm not calling you dumb: I'm calling you unreasonable. You're jumping to huge conclusions with very little basis.
And I'm Scottish, so I swear like a fucking sailor anyway.
Surprisingly large Scottish fanbase for the ME series, I know me and Carling are Scottish, and now you. Would seem we're one of the larger representing nationalities in this thread. Woo Scotland!

Well, there's Donnelly. Providing a source of entertainment for us with his terrible accent.

I only felt sorry for that [sp]batarian woman in the books who was in intensive care at a hospital and died because of Saren's brutal interrogtion methods.[/sp] As a race in general I have to agree they are pricks, probably better than vorcha though.

It wasn't that bad a Scottish accent to be fair. I've heard worse... much, much worse.
I thought Asari literally "Mindfucked" their partners, as to why you die when tryna bone morinth.
There's Mindfuck (Shep and Consort), there's normal fuck, then there's the both combined (which is what hapend to Shep with Liara)
I'm confused about why they have so many nerve endings there to make it pleasurable though, hardly the kind of thing they would have evolved to when none of them have dicks. Maybe because it's so close to the reproductive organs and there has to be a good nerve link between the brain and them for their strange kind of baby making and fucking them in the birth canal is just bastardising that.
They're hermaphrodites, it's either the johnson or the pus.
I never understood why people thought they would be. Asari have no gender, supposedly they don't give birth out of their rectum they must have 2 holes down there.
and I feel like an incredible nerd right now for discussing the privates of a fictional species with someone over the net.

reminds me terribly of ghost in the shell where they have to wire each others cyberbrains because they have robotic bodies.

this is so wrong for some reason
Seriously, the Mass Effect universe needs more stereotypes. Everything is so serious, a bumbling Mexican or profanity laden Scotsman would be hilarious.

Go watch Star Wars then if you want stereotypes.

Hey I'm Scottish too!
Is Zaeed English, or Australian? I can't tell.
his VA is from London
Middle Eastern?
Middle Eastern?
Zaeed is something arabic I think, whilst Massani is an italian surname. Pompeo Massani was a painter from Florence.
[editline]5th July 2011[/editline]
google is my friend:
"Zayd (زيد) also transliterated as Zaid, Zeid, Zeyd, Seid, Jayed, Zayed, Zaeed or Seyd is an Arabic name, meaning "abundance", "growth" or one who progresses ..."
MASSANI Origin, meaning, coat of arms
so Zaeed Massani "One who progresses the coat of arms" ?
His VA was born in England but there's a lot of Australian in there, and probably a lot of whiskey to make his voice sound like that.
Zaeed is probably from some random colony or just the kid of another mercenary. He'd probably have been working within a small group to have such a concentrated, distinct accent, maybe stayed with the same band until he was about 15 or so. From then on I'd say he just went wherever and took on a lot of jobs, being the only one skilled or lucky enough to survive the horrible survival rate mercs have.
Also his name, I have no idea. Google results just came up with him except for Massani got a hit on mass animal deaths.

Yeah, advances the family's name and standing. Marches forth carrying the banner holding their coat of arms.
Also I was coming up with a random theory of Europeans colonising smaller, arabic nations or whatever but it's easier to just say his parents were from different backgrounds. Fathers last name, mother chose first name.

Shouldn't be. although now you mention it.

Much of the developed world seems to have merged in terms of cultures by the time of Mass Effect; Anderson is from London, but judging by the accent presumably his parents were American. And Zaeed could plausibly be raised in London, but from both Australian & Italian ancestry. Alenko is an Eastern-European surname (Ukranian?), but Kaiden's accent is American.
So there's definitely some flexibility in terms of characters' origin.
