Most game romances are like softcore porn nowadays. lots of "FUCK ME HARDER" etc. i'd rather pursue a detailed relationship in a game, than just get with someone for "dat ass."

Bioware should re-use the Baldur's Gate romancing in the next ME arc. Be nice to a character or fit their specific demands, they'll randomly stop you to talk about something while strolling somewhere, you can influence or wave off their panderings. I believe there were a few quests where your romantic interest actually becomes harmed in some way or kidnapped or whatever, and you have to fix it, else they'll leave or die. (See: Jaheira's Curse quest).
But that's just wishful thinking :v:

IMO the Bastila LSM Revan romance is the epitome of what in-game romances should be. The way it added conflict and depth to each of the characters was one of the most masterfully well written character interactions I have ever seen.

I, for one, thought that the story of ME2 was great.
