Its probably not going to be related to getting the gear. Its just an achievement for the saps that got that instead of that handsome looking killing floor pack.
Do the tickets that you have earned expire? Or do they stay there till the end of the sale. Or if you redeem something.

Not all of the new achievements will have a ticket for them

Private games don't give the achievement, only public ones.
I'm really on the edge with Witcher 2. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and I like RPG games, just dont know if I'm ready to spend $30 for it.

It's well worth the thirty dollars, especially if you're computer can run it on the higher end of the settings. Absolutely gorgeous game with an engaging and dark story.

The Withcer 2 is awesome, even if you play on the lowest settings. Not so many people like the combat system, but I enjoyed it by playing the combat part like a slasher. Some don't like the actual RPG, it seemed boring to most of my friends, but I liked it. No monster grinding and boring quests. Buy it.

Ah. Your words burn into my soul. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because I only have $40 to spare and if I get it I probably wont afford anything else that goes on sale.

At least now we all have something to do for summer. For me:
Finish TBoGT and maybe another run through TLaD (So just finish the Episodes from Liberty City)
Play a bit of Test Drive Unlimited 2
Finish the older GTA games
Finish Just Cause 2
Finish Half Life 1
and there's going to be so many more games that I can't miss out on in the next week or so

If you are even remotely interested in RPGs you have to get it.
The last RPG that I bought (and full priced single player only game for that matter) was Oblivion.
I rarely buy RPGs but Witcher 2 is just so amazing and the gameplay is awesome.
