It's hard to find any good games that I don't already own when Steam posts no results. Also I noticed that Juiced 2 isn't on Steam anymore. Since when?

Play indie games, finish specific achievements in these games. You get a ticket for each achievement.
There's a huge stash of prizes you can get after you receive 3 tickets.

New achievements every day, but you can (probably) go back to get old achievements. Possibly new prizes every day.

Earn achievements in specified games, earn tickets, spend tickets on goodies.

No, there was some sort of legal issue with the people who ported the PC version. They ended up dying out so now SR2 is left in an unoptimized mess and Volition can't do anything about it.

They never were, but regardless of the shitty performance the game was a lot of fun.

if you want racing go for Dirt 3, and I recommend The Witcher 2 if you can afford another 30 bucks

In all honesty, I would wait and see if some of those packs get any cheaper. If not, just purchase them on the last day.
May save you some money.

It was fixed a little from it's mess on release but then the company went down under so they can't fix it any further.

I just got the 7 headshots and no deaths achievement on Lead and Gold on accident without using the sniper class

For some reason ever since the first match I played, I find this game ridiculously easy and almost always get at least twice as many kills as to when I die.

I'm not sure how active it is lately but the multiplayer is a blast and actually very original contrary to the Halo art style. Campaign is also good but is as short as Homefront's.

If you want a great racing game, you should check out MX vs ATV: Reflex. Some of the most fun I've had in a racing game and it gets really intense when you get all the vehicle types in the same race

It didn't had a dramatic improvement, but it did made it playable to most people with decent rigs. And if I can recall there were a lot of fanmade fixes made that drastically improved performance through custom patches and tweaks etc.
