Game packs don't get reduced further on any days (that I'm aware of). Just specific games.

2010's Christmas sale had the iD pack on sale as one of the daily deals, after being discounted already. I'd hold off on buying complete packs until the final day of the sale.

By earning the Achievements on the list, If you get 3, You can pick a prize. and I think the more you get, the more chance you get of winning the top ten games on your Wishlist.

I'd say only Toki Tori and BIT.TRIP are the only boring games. AaAaAA!!! is one of my favorite indie titles, Lead and Gold is fun in short bursts, and Swords and Soldiers HD is pretty fun even though it's a limited RTS.

Bit.Trip is interesting in that it starts out boring and quickly moves on to being painful.
The game is pretty fun after a while, though.
