Its pretty amazing for the speed some people are getting now.
Im down to 5 kb/s downloading the Killing Floor update. And it keeps stopping and starting.
I left Just Cause 2 downloading over night. Woke up to see "The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request". Well fuck, at 12%, it's got 5 hours to go now...

Imagine trying to download that game at 180 KB/s, yeah that's my maximum download speed.
I normally get 1.5MB/s down, but I'm only getting like a quarter of that on witcher 2 :(
for some reason the comcast sponsored server in seattle is faster than the one that is right next to me (atlanta georgia)
Washington DC one makes it even faster

I might pick up a few of the Indie games for some tickets later on.

Yeah something like that happens EVERY TIME I try to download a game overnight. I wake up and for some reason it's paused at like 5%

900 kb/s is an amazing download speed. I average around 500-600 kb/s and I'm lucky to cap out at 800 kb/s.

It's great when you've got a 1.5mb/s downloaded speed and Steam averages at around 200kb/s...
