I think the more interesting part isn't even the game, but the excitement of the contest.

I thought it was ok but to be honest the general gameplay mechanics are shotty even for a game from 2005. I mean you'll see people using every FPS exploit known to man in BF2. Bunnyhopping, grenade/claymore spam, dropshotting, and all that good stuff is here.
It's a lot of fun if you get in a server with people who don't do all this but it's really frustrating when you walk up to an enemy and instead of shooting at you, their first reaction is to start hopping around lobbing all their grenades at you which is most of the people that play.
Also, thanks to cr2142 for surprise gifting me his Red Orchestra trial. Even though it's all he had, it's still more than most people would give, especially unexpectedly. Thank you!
