The Facepunch Sim City 4 Colab project - Games

I'm so pleased with how this is turning out. What was a simple idea with three people is now a whole project with an even larger reigon. I'm gonna go work on Alphaville.

Started up Torontograd on the outskirts of one of the rivers. It already encompasses 2/3 of the landmass I have to work with, but only has a populace of 20,000. I know I'm doing something wrong because I could never get skyscrapers, but at least it's earning money now. Facepunch, how do get skyscraper?

Make sure it's high density too and it's watered. Other than that just keep playing and the city will hopefully grow.

Looks like my city is the only one left. We really need something of a periodic backup system. This happens far too often.

You can restore all of them off the dropbox website. I restored 98 items and the folder.

I had to move the folder out of my Dropbox in order to get Junction Link Magic to work (the program I use to create the link), and I forgot to turn off Dropbox. So my bad there. I put all of the files back though, so I don't know what happened to them again.

No guarantees it won't get deleted again, but if I'm still up I'll try and restore things again. It's pretty easy to do off the website.

I think the deleting thing happens when someone tries to directly drag the files to their region folder, or renames something. Whatever can interrupt the transfer process.

Just PM me with names of people to ban and I'll ban.

Check the dropbox website, [url]http://www.dropbox.com/[/url] log in and check if there's anything under the "Sharing" tab.
