Speaking of which, if anyone wants to make a gigantic industrial town right next to The Temple of the Almighty to outsource all my jobs to, then that'd just be quite dandy to me.

There most likely will be land available.
I'm not entirely sure what I keep doing wrong but I created my city, terraformed it and now every time I load the game it deletes it. Shows up in dropbox that I keep deleting it too...

Not much to learn except residential is your biggest money makers and then industrial. Business usually should separate industrial and residential.
You guys should try out Cities XL 2011. I thought too that SC4 was the best city building game, untill i got it. *getting ready for a bunch of dislike*

There will be pause moments, you should always plan ahead.

I played Cities XL Limited Edition, and although I did like it, it didn't feel anywhere near SimCity 4. I even tried to play it before I started this project... But it just didn't feel right.

Read the OP, the whole OP to be specific. In it, it clearly says, we have unlimited space, and anyone can build as much as they want.
So there is no interaction between the regions, you are just able to see one another develop? I read the OP and you said you can't enter one another's regions for fear of corruption.

Nah, no qualms here. SC4 may be the best, but it is a little dated, and Cities XL brings a few new concepts to the table! I especially like the global market, that's probably the coolest aspect.
