However, my dad I am not sure. He lets my brother do whatever he wants to his computer, and he ends up reformatting a few times a month. I can prove I've only downloaded 300mb in the past two days.

I cant believe they ban you from the internet for overusage, my ISP hands out warnings first month, then makes you pay for the next up plan if you overcharge. Then again I dont have a cap so Im not affected.

I'm on BT and when I went over they charged £5, then they upped the cap for free and still charged £5 and then the internet speed increased form 3mb's to 7-8mb's (On a "Up to 8mb" package) and they increased the cap again, makes me wonder why people hate BT and I have 2mb's faster than Europe's average.

I know up in Canada they just drop a few thousand dollar bill on you if you go too far over your limit, they charge up to $3/GB in overage fees. It adds up... Thankfully, I'm on shittily slow but unlimited internet, so I needn't worry.

in Australia we just get slowed down if we go over our monthly limits

I don't have a data cap with my ISP. RCN is fucking awesome. Of course they're only in the Philadelphia area.

If you're in BC/Alberta then I'd maybe believe you, but I've checked Toronto, all the ISPs for Toronto, and pretty much Ontario in general, suck ass, as do the ones in Quebec, and that's where most Canadians live. As well, Bell and Rogers own most of Canada's infrastructure and supply most of its people with internet, and it's their shitty plans I'm talking about with retarded data caps, and their monopolistic tendencies that lead to shitty independents. I'm on Primus DSL with a 5mbps connection, that's pretty much par for Toronto independent ISPs, the only one really better than that is Teksavvy cable, offering unlimited 15mbps connections. I looked into this for quite a while, and I know that ISPs up here generally tend to suck ass, even Shaw and Telus are thinking of imposing data caps now.

Im on a shaw connection. (Vancouver island, BC), and Im on a very good connection. Near valves main Seattle server, fast connection = fast DL times. Shaw offers unlimited 100Mbit plans for like $60.

Well first I have to render every single stupid city by hand and then save it as I imported it from SC4Terraformer and it looks like shit until you render it. So, give me a day-afterall... Im paying for this bandwidth.
