How's the progress on this going? I thought it seems like a rather cool idea :P
Chainmail should be vader, since you get that only with admin powers or custom adventure maps, so that won't be too much of an issue in SMP. Also, the bed still reminds me of a cake.
I am still doing this. I went out the other night and something didn't agree with my stomach, so I was throwing up all night and the day afterwards. I'm on holiday from college now, so I'll be getting some more done today. I could do that, good idea. I'm not sure why it reminds you of cake, looks like a bunk to me?
It's just that in this image: [img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/1fBlmz.png[/img_thumb] I'm looking at the sides of the bed and it reminds me of a victoria sponge cake. Y'know, with the jam in the middle.

I'm hungry now. :saddowns: Loving this pack, looking really good, keep it up, dookster. :buddy:
With a name like that, i'm not surprised. Is this pack going to have a custom GUI included?
That'll very much depend on how lazy I am. I am thoroughly enjoying making it though, so I suppose you could be hopeful for one. Then again, I think it would spoil the pack if I didn't.
Okedoke, here we are. Not tons of stuff, but I have updated a lot of things. I'm just showing what I could remember updating while I played. Grass has actually been changed slightly, by the way, I just forgot to update terrain.png. Oh, I also didn't realise that bookshelves used the wooden plank texture on it's top, so it looks a bit odd. My character wearing a Rebel Jumpsuit (Iron Armour) First Mob completed. Zombies have been replaced with Tusken Raiders. The boat is really difficult due to the fact any vehicles based on water vehicles in Star Wars are always complex in design. I tried changing it to a Gungan Bongo thanks to a suggestion from Simski, but I don't know. I still don't like it. And bookshelves now house Holobooks. Plus, as I mentioned, they look a teeny bit strange since I didn't think to check what they used as their "Top" texture. Cooo Cuhh... Cooo Cuhh...
Ahh, that mask is brilliant!
I don't think it should block that much of your screen though. Moreso since in reality you'd be looking directly through the eyeholes and the mask wouldn't be visible. Maybe making the mask semitransparent so that you can, with difficulty, see the rest of the world would be good. Also, the way the light's reflecting makes it seem you're staring at the mask, rather than from inside it.

But as Simski says, the normal pumpkin one blocks a lot of view as well. But we'll see. [editline]11th April 2011[/editline] Also, if I make the mask any bigger, the eye holes will go off the screen.

I think, this being a star wars pack and all, that the center, where the eyes are, should be a slightly whiter transparency, giving a night-vision effect. It would suit that, with all the technology, night vision is possible. And it'd give you a bit of a choice when wearing the helm. Block vision, see at night, or clear vision, vulnerable at night. One question though, how do you tell the difference between the vader armour and the pumpkin?

But I'll make it a little easier to see out of. I changed the diamond armour from Vader's suit to Royal Imperial Guards :v:
i know you've already made zombies, but could zombies turn into death troopers and skeletons be regular storm troopers?

And the pumpkin is literally the only image that supports partial transparency, so make the most of it, which you can see on the default pumpkin with the blurred edges.

Oh, well that changes everything then. Thanks for the tip! :v: [editline]11th April 2011[/editline] Awesome, just noticed Notch's tweet about Pigs turning into Zombie Pigmen when struck by lightning. May be seeing some Wookies on the surface!
i know you've already made zombies, but could zombies turn into death troopers and skeletons be regular storm troopers?
I don't know. What's a Death Trooper? I tend to stick to the Saga Canon for this.
Toned down grass. Sort of: And wood: However, Bantha are now a common sight!: And the Nether looks better than I expected: Wookie!
Is that a wookie in a moon with a light saber
Is that a wookie in a moon with a light saber
Y'up :v:
I think it looks nice
This is awesome
I don't know. What's a Death Trooper? I tend to stick to the Saga Canon for this.
a death trooper is an infected storm trooper from the first star wars horror novel called "death troopers"
Essentially it's a more badass stormtrooper with black armor.
How would one go about editing lava? I don't want to change it then discover I've buggered the animation.
This is looking lovely, the nether looks awesome!
Not an update, but I want let you guys know I am still working on this. So here's some shots of a tower I built, using the pack: And an egg:
