I told myself 'Wait for New Vegas to come on sale. It just has to.'
My lucky day, it and the DLC are just $20 altogether. I'm so glad I waited. c:

I don't think I could have waited that long.
GTA IV has horrible optimization so I'd not recommend buying that, especially if your PC doesn't meet the requirements.

okay I guess M&B complete pack is my pick :)
but again, since my cpu speed is 2.3 GHZ (AMD)
and M&B Warband requires 2.4 GHz, will I be able to run warband on low settings?

I love first person brawlers. Hence why I got Fallout.
Oh, I've never really played a Doom game before. Would this be a good time to get the series? :v:

oh the nostalgia :) It WAS a good game (the first one). Don't know if you'd appreciate it now though but it's cheap so I'd say go for it!
I started up mount and blade Warband and as soon as I loaded my save, I got the lady in the lake achievment out of nowhere. Didn't even have any men in my party :v:
This dude is a bro, he bought me Fire and Sword and we played Captain Co-Op for 2 hours
Probably already been asked, but is the Lady of the Lake achievement bugged? I gave a great sword to Bunduk as a female character, but no dice.
I had to wait three days
Downloading 11gb of Alpha Protocol sure is a bitch when your download keeps pausing.

I'd wait until the sale is over. You're going to run into that A LOT until then.
Hey,
Im looking for someone who can gift me Fallout New Vegas included the both DLC's from US or UK store.
I am using Paypal for such things. I hope someone can help me out here!
Buying games now is a more viable option than pirating thanks to valve.
I've already spent $50 and I'm debating throwing $25 in my steam wallet and capping myself for the rest of the sale...

I'm too weak to cap myself in spending but good on you if you do.

Well, it was pretty fun on the PS3 when I played through it with a friend.
To get the full experience you should join a regiment.
One of the most powerful regiments is the 51'st, a big regiment on the british faction.
Our site is http://www.51stregiment.com/news.php (and if you actually want to join go here http://www.51stregiment.com/news.php , and add my name under the Recruiter part of the Application :v:)
Thanks, but I'm not joining any clans right now. Maybe later. I'll keep it handy.

If you're not sure about getting Fallout New Vegas, I REALLY recommend getting it.Esspecially if you liked fo3
Is Mount and Blade worth it?
Is Mount and Blade worth it?
Yes.
If you're not sure about getting Fallout New Vegas, I REALLY recommend getting it.Esspecially if you liked fo3
Even if you haven't played fo3, if you're even slightly on the fence about it then just get it. Will not regret it.
And I'm not sure how much more into this sale I'll get before I just decide to close steam and walk away for the summer.
Is Mount and Blade worth it?
Get Warband though, not the original. Warband is basically everything the original had with alot more stuff, like newer engine, factions, everything really. even multiplayer.
Yes.
Please explain.
I've watched a dosen reviews and a lot of gameplays just to decide whether to buy it and it seems :
a) boring "rpg-er" while in towns
b) centered on combat
c) combats gets repetetive after aquiring good equipment

This times a million.
I liked Fallout 3 okay, but New Vegas has definitely become my favorite game.
If you've never played any Fallout game, you're good. New Vegas takes a lot from the previous games especially Fallout 1 and 2 but they're really just references and it's solely it's own story.
It's the fun and open world of Fallout 3 but with a way better setting, a way way way better story, a lot more shit to do and a lot more weapons/armor/items and better gameplay mechanics. The quests are a lot more intricate with different outcomes, there's more of them and they all seem to have a purpose and are interesting.
Seriously if you have 15$ and any interest what-so-ever in it buy it right now. The game alone will last you a good 60 hours at least, add on the fuckton of mods and you've got yourself the perfect open world game.

To be honest that's exactly why I didn't like it. After putting something like 90 hours into Fallout 3, I got New Vegas thinking "what the hey, it can't be bad, right?" but ended up playing for something like 3 hours before I got super bored and just figured I had done this all before. New Vegas didn't bring too much new to the table, but I guess for the price they're asking, it'd be worth it if understand what you're getting.
You know, maybe it's because I don't like western settings or I live right outside of D.C., but I think the setting also had a lot to do with it.
