Is Dark Messiah any good? Looks fun. Also, I'm not really into the whole "might and magic" heroes, where it makes you do like turn based fighting or anything but is it worth the buy?
buy it for sure. multiplayer wasn't much fun for me but the singleplayer experience was excellent. i liked to play it through multiple times, I LOVE these type of games where you have a lot of options gameplay-wise.
Oh fuck you Steam. Now I don't know what to do. I was planning to buy the DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on 360 for $10 and now they throw it on Steam's sale for $20 with the DLC already included. What should I do? Re-buy it on Steam and sell my 360 copy? Buy the DLC on 360 and forget the PC version?
How good's your PC? If you can run the games smoothly just drop the 20 dosh for the whole pack on the PC. Steam updates plus install it anywhere beats the discs for me.
If you can afford a tablet, then buying a 4€ game shouldn't be a problem for you.
LIES.
just bougth defense grid :>
Spiral Knights is a free Alternative with slightly different gameplay and co-op play.
Incomparable. You can't even play Spiral Knights more than a few floors unless you purchase Mist Tanks.
They still count. If you're thinking about getting Torchlight it's best suited for someone who loved Diablo and wants a dungeon crawler to play while Diablo 2 comes out. It's a blatant Diablo clone but it does it well. Spiral Knights is a free Alternative with slightly different gameplay and co-op play.
I have some news for you...
Yeah. Torchlight is way better, plus there are tons of cool mods.
hug9000 still there? Read my post?
I have some news for you...
Whoops, meant 3.
If you can afford a tablet, then buying a 4€ game shouldn't be a problem for you.
I wouldn't be too sure about that. I got my tablet PC for £1 at the car boot, because he couldn't get it to charge up. He was using the wrong charger.
Yey, thanks :D I just created a Steam for him so he could get in this magical world that is PC Gaming, and I was going to buy him a few games so another one would be magical. The steam id is lucas_g_costa.
Incomparable. You can't even play Spiral Knights more than a few floors unless you purchase Mist Tanks.
Well that's the downfall of F2P games, they're never really free to play. Still it's an alternative, just not necessarily a great one.
Can I still get a ticket for an older achievement
Honestly, for that price, buying Torchlight can't be a bad idea.
Is the Iron Grip achievement broken? Bought everything and still no achievement.
Well that's the downfall of F2P games, they're never really free to play. Torchlight has much more interesting stuff. If you can't pay $3 to get a much deeper experience then I don't know what to say. The only downside to Torchlight is the lack of multiplayer.
Can I still get a ticket for an older achievement
Yup
I'm in the same debacle. I've got all 3 on PS3 but I want to buy at least 2 (and maybe Brohood) on Steam and maybe sell the PS3 copies to Amazon. Only thing is I'm pretty much 100% on both games on the PS3. :(
Can I come live with you?
No, Those games I get cheap are mine! I paid for my Mount and Blade, and I have never regretted spending that 50p!
How good's your PC? If you can run the games smoothly just drop the 20 dosh for the whole pack on the PC. Ugh, they accuse me of credit card fraud and don't even have the nerve to answer my emails. Fucking steam Can anyone buy me Dark Messiah? I'll buy you a game whenever it starts working, $7-$10. Dark Messiah is 7.50
All you get is guns, swords and bombs, that may or may not cause status effects to monsters. Torchlight has much more interesting stuff.
I agree and would recommend Torchlight over Spiral Knights for sure, but if you're really really strapped for cash it's something to grind your gears in the mean time.
If it ran AC2 without a hitch then ACB should run perfectly fine right? I remember hearing it was also optimized better?
In that case, get it on Steam. Brotherhood should run just as well as AC2 does if not a little better.
Successfully gifted Torchlight :) See you guys in 24h. I'll start a third raffle if there are two or more games <4€ on day 5 deals :)
And again, many thanks. <3
Again, you're welcome :D
Once again, if you're thinking about getting it, Torchlight is definitely worth $3.50.
I'm going to wait for Dragon Age 2: Ultimate Edition to come out. $35 is too much for a game with the amount of content that Dragon Age 2 has.
I got Torchlight for free from that Humble indie bundle thing
I got Torchlight for free from that Humble indie bundle thing
That was Trine.
