Guy in VS hover tank rides into base.
We all start shooting him, notice he isn't shooting back, everyone stops shooting.
All start running towards the tank, jumping all over it etc etc.
Some cheeky fucker runs over, hacks the tank so the driver is ejected, one vs guy standing in a group of about 20 NC guys.
Everyone opens fire, friendly fire errywhere.
where the fuck is all the players with microphones on the red guys? srs come on, i need some friends. i'm so lonely.
Had a good night with a platoon where we had a lot of Gal drops. Sadly the Terrans were pretty fast at countering us with overwhelming numbers.

Either I'm lagging horribly or they're still having trouble with cheaters because I emptied a Sweeper into a TR who was busy hosing someone else with his Chaingun without damaging him at all, then he turns around and kills me before I can even take a step. Either way, I'm out.
I'm thinking lag because I keep getting shot through walls.

Also, I didn't know that you couldn't swim! I tried flanking the enemy via water but was shocked to see that all I could do was run across the sea floor.

I gave up with the NC, went to the ol' TR. I like the sound effects of the Medium Assault rifle better, I like the MAX's better, I like the Chaingun more than the Jackhammer, and Red/Black is pretty nice color combination on vehicles. I just wish I could rank up faster.. 5 hours of gameplay so far and I've probably clocked in 15k BEP total, though I was only 30/40 K:D

Well, shit, this is disappointing. I could always try combinations of a few passwords. I wish SOE would bring back the whole extended trial thing. It was something like a 48 day trial where you couldn't advance past a certain point.

It was terribly abused. I remember seeing players in MAXes running at incredible speeds thanks to hacks.

Wow shit, got +54 grief on my guy because I accidentally ran down like 15 players and destroyed an AMS by crashing in to it because of the fucking stealth bubble. Arguably he shouldn't have parked it right in front of the gates to the base.

It won't matter. Cheating in online PC games is like game piracy, it won't be stopped by any measures put in place
Only way to help really curb it is to have active GMs with banhammers
