After fucking for hours with AMK:SE, I still can't get that thing to work. Can someone PLEASE post a detailed walkthrough on how to install the damn thing? As I'm clearly doing something wrong and want to play some fucking Stalker already.

So, installed a Realism Mod and the game won't run. I actually kind of liked the features it offered as well. The mod, in case anyone can think of a solution: [url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/realism-mod[/url]

Shit.[/QUOTE] LURK is pretty fun but beware the horrible ~BLOODY SCREEN~ everytime you get shot, really distracting. Aside from that it's a decent mod.

I remember my first time playing stalker, I was at my friend and he said "look out for the artifacts" At the same second the screen goes full of red dots and BSOD's

Woh, started a new game on AMK, first time playing. I get my missions and as I leave the starting area, boom. An anomaly gets me and I die within seconds. After that I went around the invisible anomaly and end up getting myself into another one, dead again. So I decide to try one more time except this time I actually get to the bandit camp. We started to run down the hill at the camp when suddenly anomaly rape. If I could actually see anomalies I'd be enjoying this mod. :frown:

Which STALKER game should I buy? I can afford Clear Sky or Call of Pripyat.

Call of Pripyat but you should play CS first so why not look around the Steam sale for that too? Maybe get the Radioactive edition which has both CoP and CS. You [I]have[/I] played ShoC, right ?

Darn it I hate to say it but the whole run into an anomaly every 5 seconds thing in AMK is ruining it for me. :smith:

CS kinda sucked, unless you want to get it for Total Faction Warfare maybe.
