I hate the gas mask overlays in Pripyatan. In fact, I hate the gas mask overlays in every single STALKER mod I've ever played. Why can't they be like the ones from Metro 2033? The overlays in that were great, I didn't even notice I had one on until I got shot and it cracked/my air filter was running out.

Tried out CoP with mods for the first time; followed a group of Stalkers (because, y'know, safety in numbers). Barely made it past Skadovsk. The first guy died when we took fire from some passing bandits. The second when we were beset upon by one of the many vicissitudes of the zone: Dynamic Dog Packs. The last man, armed only with a Hunting Rifle, was gutted and eaten by a boar while I was looting Number 2's corpse. Needless to say I ran like a deer back to the Skadovsk, barely making it inside before an emission obliterated everyone not in shelter.
