I doubt it matters, I probably wouldn't react fast enough to dodge the rocket anyways. Wait, am I discussing the best way to turn me into a puddle of gore?
bandit rape is the 3rd easiest way to get turned into a pile of gore. 2nd is boars and 1st is the bloodsucker with a 12 inch cock (all this is according to paravin)
Worked. Once. Past tense. And then I killed them.
Worked. Once. Past tense. And then I killed them.
Loners died because of your descision! It could have been easily averted!

It was, I reloaded my previous save and killed the bandits. Regardless I don't mind, it's not all that much of a big deal in my mind and if it is to you, so be it. If tt's a big deal that I helped a virtual group kill another virtual group to you, very well.
Spray bandits in the back with my Val erry' day. :c00lbert:

Their virtual families now lost their only virtual source of virtual money and their virtual dreams will never be fulfilled because the virtual you turned them into a mass of virtual pixelated blood and polygons!
That was one of mine, Paravin only did PDAs :)
Speaking of items, will the car battery make an appearance in WoTW?
Yes, I don't want to steal his thunder.
Speaking of items, will the car battery make an appearance in WoTW?
Where was the car battery? I couldn't find it. If you tell me where it is, I'll reinstall Redux.
Where was the car battery? I couldn't find it. If you tell me where it is, I'll reinstall Redux.
It's a random inventory item, I think.
Ya never know!
Read: "oh shit oh shit I completely forgot about that I better make some vague mysterious statement so I have time to actually think about it" See, I know a bit about game development too!
It's a random inventory item, I think.
Dammit, now I have to kill every bandit and stalker I see until I get me a car battery.
On my first play through of Redux I found it and was convinced it did something, since it was heavy and not worth much money, and kept it in my stash in the boat.

More random crap like scrap metal and half broken electronics as sellable loot items would be cool.
I'm making a whole new profession based around that so stop spilling my secrets!
Actual scavenging in stalker?
Mistakes Having recently arrived at the Zone, Major Degtyarev was quick to look for opportunities to gain the trust of stalkers as well as some money to buy better weaponry. Looking at his shoddy AK/74U he instantly regretted choosing the innocuous road rather than bringing a more powerful weapon in better condition. Unfortunately bringing a shiny new military issue Akaban into the Zone was asking for attention, and worse still - to be robbed. Setting off towards the nearest settlement marked on his government issue PDA, he met very little resistance on the way, some what unsettlingly due to the reports from the outposts at the Cordon warning of invisible mutants, hoards of mutant dogs and boars the size of Rhinos. Entering what appeared to be the partially destroyed case of a ship, he entered, glancing around the room at the men, their withdrawn, blank serious stares enough to tell tales of their own of horrors unseen by any other man outside of the Zone. As carefully as he entered, he continued inside, pausing to see a large man sitting at a makeshift bar, his wares laid out behind him. Turning Alexander walked cautiously over to him and awkwardly initiated a conversation with the surly man. "Hey, are you in charge around here?" Alexander inquired, although it was fairly obvious. "Yea" the man answered rather bluntly, "They call me Beard." After a conversation about the local area, and a warning of the dangers of the surrounding area, Alexander bode farewell and turned for the door, ready to head over to the nearest helicopter crash. His stroll was interupted however by a call from a man to his right, a bald seedy looking man sitting on a crate with two masked men on each side, similar to guards. Approaching carefully he asked the man what he wanted, and a job offer was put up. Kill the men, get a reward. Not to refuse money, Major Degtyarev agreed and waited with the men until midnight, then followed them to another banked ship. In the darkness he and the other armed men carefully stepped inside, avoiding the headlight of a guard posted at the entrance Degtyarev moved closer to ensure a killing shot, and took aim with his worn weapon. After carefully aiming his firearm, a shot rang out from the ambience of the Zone, and the open attack was initiated. Charging upstairs the Major turned the corner and sprayed down a panicking man in a gas mask, then pulled back behind a corner as a spray of bullets peppered the wall behind him. Several tense minutes later, the fight was over, and all that was left was to collect the loot and his share of the profit. Looking for the nearest body without another man attached to it's pockets Alexander spotted one and bent over, opening the jacket pocket and pulled a peice of paper from his pocket, perhaps an item of identification. It wasn't, he could clearly see a small child holding another, a little girl, their smiling faces emphasized the happiness of the moment. A tender memory from a time long ago, perhaps this mans wife, or a childhood crush. Realizing what he had done, Alexander sunk to his knees, aware that the lives he had just took were not only just as long and as deep as his own, but just as full of joy and life. Or had been. Not to look excessivly weak in front of the other killers that surrounded him, he stood up, banishing the thoughts of what was essentially a murder from his mind. Walking to the man responsible with paying him for helping them surprise and kill these men, he listened as the man boasted and laughed about their kills, and thanked him for "Bandit kind everywhere." Mouth agape Major Degtyarev realized he had just assisted the group of the lowest humans on earth grow stronger, and as true anger filled him, he drew his pistol and pointed it at the surprised man, and emptied a clip into his face. As the blood trickled over the metallic floor of the rusted ship Alexander Degtyarev realized that he would never be forgiven for this mistake, but as he looked at the stained, aged picture he knew that he would remember not to make the same mistake again.
neato story.
I like the part where people diededed :downs: But seriously, great story mate.
Say, are there any English translations for AMK that don't look like they were written by a blind chimp?
Can somebody help me out here. I just downed 2 bottles of vodka to get rid of radiation, and I quick saved. And now whenever I start I die like 1 second after loading. What can I do? I have no other saves.
You could cheat by editig the files to give you 100% radiation resistance, but I really think you should save more often if your going to get youself into situations like this.
If he's playing AMK he's probably dying of alcohol poisoning
And I don't think that's fixable either; there's no alcohol resistance meter. They just scripted that in themselves. And it serves you right for not saving. Learn from your mistakes. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] Thorny will you implement something like that in WoTW? How will medkits/bandages/aides be made available and used?
If he's playing AMK he's probably dying of alcohol poisoning
Reminds me of those mods that kill you if you drink five vodkas at once. And those that hurt you just if you drink vodka.
Do NPCs spawn in fireplaces in Oblivion Lost?
