What exactly are you confused on so I can help you? the regular procedure for install mods goes as: To install a gamedata folder you put it in your main S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl folder, if you see the bin folder this is where you place the gamedata folder. Then open fsgame and change the line: $game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\ until both say true. If your situation is different post info as precisely and accurate as possible so I can help you.
Did all that in addition to the what was in LURK 1.1's readme to install... and nothing. Copied gamedata into my bin folder etc. etc., but my game is still running vanilla. The line in fsgame is set to true, so I got no idea what's going on with it. I seem to remember anytime I put the gamedata folder in my main SoC folder, I'd always CTD on startup.
So I'm fucked because I drank 2 vodkas and quicksaved?
Definitely sounds like it, most veteran stalkers don't really quicksave that much anyway because they don't store as much info as a regular save. It's not so bad now because I think it was all patched but I remember in Clear Sky if you quicksaved all the upgrades to weapons and armour in your stash that you made would just disappear.
I went and did other missions and came back and it was still there. How long does it usually take for them to shift?
Until there's a blowout. Also that's bizzare considering that's supposed to be a "safe" area. So yeah just sleep for a while until there's a blowout. The anomaly will move.
Actual scavenging in stalker?
Hopefully yeah.
And I don't think that's fixable either; there's no alcohol resistance meter. They just scripted that in themselves. And it serves you right for not saving. Learn from your mistakes. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] Thorny will you implement something like that in WoTW? How will medkits/bandages/aides be made available and used?
Same as vanilla CoP I think.
Is there any console commands for like invincibility as I really don't want to have to start a new game after getting alcohol poisoning and quicksaving.
Get a trainer, otherwise load the last autosave, if even that doesn't work you're screwed
So I'm fucked because I drank 2 vodkas and quicksaved?
Yeah probably. AMK features alcohol poisoning and becoming an alcoholic (lol.)
Reminds me of those mods that kill you if you drink five vodkas at once. And those that hurt you just if you drink vodka.
I'd kill for a realistic alcohol damage system in any game. Drink the full bottle of vodka in one shot? Sure it clears the rads, but you'll barf enough to cover the entire Sarcophagus. :v: Or better: a realistic food management system. IMAGINE: to eat food or drink alcohol, you have to equip them as a weapon and take bites/shots with the fire button. The quantity is counted as ammo, one can/sausage/bottle equals one magazine. GLORIOUS.

How about this: the more alcohol you drink, the more damage you take from food in the long run due to liver damage.

My last autosave is just me lying in the house near to my quicksave, just lying there dead.
Copied gamedata into my bin folder
don't copy it to the bin folder, copy it to the main stalker folder

that's a typical friday night for us Eastern Europeans [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] shotguns, vodka and radiation
I think if you drink too much vodka your screen should go black and then you wake up in some random location, usually very far from where you started.
Also, does anyone have the Anarchy Cell design docs? [editline]5th July 2011[/editline]
I think if you drink too much vodka your screen should go black and then you wake up in some random location, usually very far from where you started.
naked
Also, does anyone have the Anarchy Cell design docs?
I was looking for them on my harddrive before, but all I found was an extremely rare playable anarchy cell build, which has a very old version of the pripyat underground. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] Among a few other maps.
I think if you drink too much vodka your screen should go black and then you wake up in some random location, usually very far from where you started.
That would be hilarious if you just buy 20 bottles of vodka from Sid, then you black out and wake up at the NPP. You basically beat the game
I think if you drink too much vodka your screen should go black and then you wake up in some random location, usually very far from where you started.
Naked beside a pile of about 47 loafs of bread.
My character played Stalker blacked out drunk and here's what happened!
SoC was originally planned to be about Strelok waking up from a massive vodka binge. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] :v: [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] Sid leads a rehabilitation center.
Might give AMK another chance, because I honestly can't remember why I didn't like it.
That would be hilarious if you just buy 20 bottles of vodka from Sid, then you black out and wake up at the NPP. You basically beat the game
What would be more hilarious you wake up with totally diffrent equipment, some of which can't be given by trading or looting.
Naked beside a pile of about 47 loafs of bread.
Loaves of "bread".
