Yes, later on you can more or less totally ignore the faction bullshit and it's broken as hell so you might as well. But it still feels like a railshooter; you're always asked to hurry up and you never get any incentive to explore. I can never get into stalker, I always end up getting lost or getting an overwhelming feeling of "Am I going the right way?"

As in look at the mission you're doing, and follow it's marker, if it has one.

I wish I could get lost in any vanilla maps. That's why I like Secret Trails and one of the many reasons why LA will be so amazing.

Secret Trails is pretty much as unknown as a stalker mod gets, it has pretty much never been mentioned anywhere and the translations are worse than the soup. It's awesome.
