Ok, I see. No problem then, but you'll probably get most out of Call of Pripyat if you play Clear Sky too (borrow it from a friend, maybe?) before Call of Pripyat.
Also, there'll be a lot of returning characters so you'll kind of miss the feeling of seeing old bros caught up in new shenanigans and such.

Is Call of Pripyat worth buying? I've been a huge fan of the series but have only recently got a computer capable of running Clear Sky maxed with CS: Complete on. Also is there a CoP: Complete or something similar? The difference they made on SHoC and CS was insane.
There's nothing wrong with vanilla CoP, at least compared to the other game's vanilla.

You don't play Half-Life 2 with mods first.
For some reason my FN2000's 4x optical zoom stops working after I reload a save after first getting it. This is for Clear Sky vanilla. Is there a fix for this?
Is AMK supposed to turn off my geiger counter and anomaly detector? If so, can I buy one from the barkeep?

If you find a nightstar you get a dosimeter, else you have to buy the anomaly detector.

How hard can it be to kill a Bandit Commander in SGM?
Are there any mods for Clear Sky that make the ballistics less... "funky"?
Pistol rounds and buckshot seem to vanish after a certain distance and shotgun slugs are bouncing off guys in leather jackets.
Is that just ballistics or other things too? First playthough of it

Ballistics and it makes it more survival oriented AFAIR. Adds a sleeping bag too.

They're mostly conscripts if that explains anything.
Trained and equiped as cheaply as possible.
