An ability to use hand-made modifications to maintain the infrastructure of the weapons is also a good concept IMO.

Rails on eastern weapons annoy me though.

Sorry if this is a question you get often, but I have Stalker: Call of Pripyat and Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl on Steam, which should I play first? Tried a bit of Call of Pripyat but wasn't sure which one to play first, so I went here.

Ok this is annoying me. I don't know if it is the Steam version or not, but I swear to god, it took 5 minutes to load my first save, then after that quick loads seem fine. I just killed a whole bunch of army dudes, and then saved, and then quicksaved, and as soon as a quick saved, the screen went black for a second, then came back, and it was pouring rain, and I was dead, and it said there was a high radiation level? This was at the railroad embankment. I have no idea if it was a glitch or what, but both of the saves I did, just load with me being dead?

The first load time of each Stalker session is a bit longer than the others. (Although it shouldn't probably load for 5 mins unless you have a really old comp). I can't say anything about the other situation, though.

I took your advice and started an earlier save and the exact same thing happened. Once I took the soldiers out, I took 1 bottle of vodka to get rid of my radiation, and I save, and the screen goes black for a second and then it is pouring rain and I am dead. What the fuck?

Oh my god this game is so fucked like, I ran all the way back to Sidrovich and bought an anti rad thing and took 1 and I just died straight away! What the fuck? I have that AMK: SE mod installed is that fucking it up or something!?
