Remember though: always turn on random, rare stashes. You'll find 60,000 RUs worth of artifacts in one stash. They are rare though, so it's not an easy way to get rich/good equipment fast.

I am getting massive hangups in this, it litrally pauses for 2 seconds everyone like 10 seconds. What the christ is the crack with it?

That's an error from People Soup. I've extracted it 4 damn times into my STALKER folder.

Might have something to do with it, stalker doesn't like multicores for some reason.

Yeah, it'll run better if you have a strong dual core than a strong quad core.

I lowered down the texture detail because I heard that can make it stutter and it fixed it mainly, get the odd stutter here and there though.

I should totally make a mod that is called "Shadow of Chernobyl Vanilla" and use all the extracted content from the normal game, then put it up on ModDB/random hosting website. Then when somebody asks what mods should he use for the first playthrough you link him to a gamedata folder containing only vanilla content. :v:
