Now the only thing I want too is a complete Valve soundtrack collector with Gabe signature on the CDs
Whilst I'm only interested in the TF2 Comics, I need this.
My levels of "want" are off the scale man.
Needs a half life comic :smith: valve's best series and it gets nothing in this.

GORDON: "......" ALYX: "GORDON!" REBELS: "Reload, Dr. Freeman!" [Gordon reloads dramatically] REBELS, IN UNISON: "Don't forget to reload, Dr. Freeman!" ALYX: "GORDONZOMBINEGORDON!" [Gordon puts the gun to his head and pulls the trigger]
Awesome.
I'm buying this. I want another raising the bar!
:words:
If you want Chell sexualized just ask FakeFactory
Certainly. Here's a handy reference image which I'll use for the comparison: As you can see, Portal 2 Chell was altered by Valve to have:

a shapelier, more feminine figure. Check out the length of Portal 2 Chell's legs. She's heading towards Barbie doll proportions here!
form-fitting clothing, particularly obvious in the legs of her jumpsuit. This in turn accentuates Portal 2 Chell's tighter glutes, aka the perky round ass as so lovingly rendered again by Valve in the OP's image.
less clothing above the waist, a no-brainer. Of course, there's more form-fitting attire here with a tight tank top that exposes more of her chest (compare to the modest nondescript undershirt worn by Portal 1 Chell) and is stark white to allow the shading to highlight her curves.
an immaculate prim and proper appearance, especially in contrast to the deliberately messy and disheveled Portal 1 look. It's quite unintuitive for Chell to become cleaner over time considering the entire premise of Portal 2 is that the place deteriorates from a tidy and maintained testing facility to a broken down and decrepit wreck. Valve just wanted her to look pretty.
pseudo-stiletto boots. Portal 1 Chell stood on her bare tippy-toes due to the design of her fancy knee thing. Now she's literally wearing thigh-high high heel boots, a rather pronounced fashion change for no reason other than to put Chell in pseudo-stiletto boots.
less of a man face. More no-brainer here, but if I have to point out something, I'll say that Portal 1 Chell has creepy a man jaw while Portal 2 Chell apparently found the time to apply eyeliner. However, I will admit that the hundreds of years of sleep probably would be enough to take care of the bags under Portal 1 Chell's eyes.
the gratuitous low-angle supermodel runway strut. Note that this is how Valve is advertising Chell, not how any of us are interpreting the character to our own fancies. If you're even remotely familiar with the time and effort Valve puts into their pre-rendered movies, you should realize that this wasn't unintentional.
Anyway, this list is just a formality. I think the side-by-side image comparison says far more than I could convey in text. Portal 2's Chell is not the same character, and you'd have to be pretty ignorant or willfully naive to believe that Valve made these changes innocently. Obviously the intention was to go with a "sex sells" approach in selling Portal 2, but then Valve had to dial it all back and use the goofy robots acting wacky for advertising when they knocked the game down to an E-10+ rating for tiny babies.
All that is fine and dandy if you don't take into account the fact that Portal 1 Chell looks like some kind of mutated sewer monster. They didn't try to sexualize her, they simply made her look more normal, which in turn makes her more attractive.
I'd like to see some of the Saxton Hale comics actually made.
I wish the TF2 comics didn't always end in cliffhangers...
Explain to me, how she was sexualized?
Well for one, she's got unexplainable makeup. They didn't need to make her a top model is all.
All that is fine and dandy if you don't take into account the fact that Portal 1 Chell looks like some kind of mutated sewer monster. They didn't try to sexualize her, they simply made her look more normal, which in turn makes her more attractive.
She looks pretty normal to me.
And here's the final cover:
holy crap i want a poster of that
Valve made comic books are the first step. Full blown official novels expanding the game's storylines are next, I'm calling it now. (RATE ME OPTIMISTIC :v:)
I like the idea of a Novel. Maybe about Keith or something interesting.
And here's the final cover:
That is so much fucking better than the last one.
That is so much fucking better than the last one.
Needs more Chell ass.
The heavy looks grumpy.
And here's the final cover:
That is just about the single most bad-ass illustration of all time.
And here's the final cover:
she's still got a fine ass.
If someday I see this on a comic book store I will buy it. It will probably end up in a plastic bag on a bookcase, but whataever
If someday I see this on a comic book store I will buy it. It will probably end up in a mylar bag on a bookcase, but whataever
"304-page collection..." I don't think you'll fit that in one of these.

dat ass [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]
and scary ass face
Thats why paper bags were invented, my friend ;)

Heavy finds the second grocket confirmed. He'll get a tesla cannon.
I assume it'll contain all those little quirky things like the Steam tube delivery system and stuff like that. Coz I loved those pages. Either way, it'll just be a great thing to have, because all the Valve comics have been great up to this point. And no doubt it'll come with a bunch of exclusive hard-copy only pages.
