Can't we all just agree that WWII was won through the efforts of every country involved on the allied side. The Axis put up a damn good fight as well. Now let's get back to RO. I can not wait to try out the new sniper rifles, I usually works as a sniper in Ostfront the idea of adjustable sights on rifles, scopes, etc. makes me really happy.
hitler/the holocaust/ww2 never happened it's all forged by time travelers so RO is a fictional game based on fiction therefore it is sci-fi and is no longer a realism sim lost my purchase.
Uh, without America the allies would never have won. We spearheaded into Italy, not only taking Sicily but Italy with little British help. We lost the most during D-day, and we still took the beaches. If the British had commanded the D-day invasion, we would have been forced out of Europe. The British took weeks to take ground that Americans took in days. Also you brits seem to forget that Market Garden, one of the largest Allied FAILURES came from Montgomery. Not only this, but if the US, according to you, was so insignificant in WW2, how come we became the world's leading superpower for the rest of the century? The allies, save for the soviets and the US, pretty much stopped fighting after France. The US and Russia continued to force Germany all the way back to the Elba and finally Berlin. Not only that but we also fought Japan singlehandedly. Forget Australia they did negligible amounts of help, other than be guides to the rest of the US advance.
Someboddyy doesn't get how cooperation works [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] You're seriously going to sit there and say the US was the deciding factor in the outcome of the war? Go back to playing Medal Of Honor thanks. Let's put this simply: If it wasn't for the eastern front, the US would've got slaughtered during the invasion and the subsequent pushes. Absolutely slaughtered.

Oooo. WW2 Debate. Allies were just bait so that Soviets can take Berlin.
i dont get why you are all arguing over something that never happened.

England couldn't even fight a war at this stage. They literally had to ban cars for civilians to be able to scrounge up enough oil to keep on fighting. Afterwards England's economy was in the shithole. Oh and I didn't see England or France winning before the US joined the war. Hell even Russia was pushed back to within miles of Moscow. Ever hear of Lend-Lease? We gave the brits and russians shitloads of supplies, without which they would have lost the war before we even got involved. I'm not saying that the other Allies were completely insignificant but to say that the US was insignificant is simply retarded, as the US fought harder than the Europeans in Normandy and Italy anyway.

Well whatever. But remember, the reason why Europe isn't a shithole today is because the US poured 13 billion dollars into rebuilding the place from the ground up after Germany stomped all over the place.

A country's debt is completely irrelevant. What matters is that WE fixed up the place, provided millions of tons of supplies to aid you as well. Not to mention that this debt is recent, since 2000. Not 1947. [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] And the whole reason the argument was started is because I got a strong vibe from several posters basically saying that Europe won the war themselves and the US only sent a few dozen guys over.

Wow you are a fucking retard. Its a game about WW2 and the topic was brought up before I posted, and the discussion was most of last page. Therefore it is the discussion. Also learn to use capitals, idiot.

Wow you are the first person to actually call me out in a situation like this. Bravo.
undeniable proof:
I absolutely love the first one, getting this the day it comes out. It shows that they love their players, I love you guys too.
Best part about this game is we won't be getting a shitty console port :buddy:
Like a god damn kindergarten... "Murrica is best" "No." "Yes murrica is best!" "No." "yes fuck you Europe is shit murrica is best" [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] And the best thing is that Uberman knows as much about WWII as a Cook about Astronomy.
Wow you are the first person to actually call me out in a situation like this. Bravo.
Being a Brit, we do thank you americans for helping us resist Germany, I mean if you watch Band of Brothers just to see what one company of the airborne had to go through such as Bastogne, it was atrocious. But, you have to consider that we were involved in two full world wars against these Germans and even though you helped put an end to it, it took you the attack on Pearl Harbour to realise you had to get off your back sides and realise you was in this war as well, because that's the only criticism I can give the USA, yes I praise them for the huge amount of help we got off you and aid, but you did spend the better part of the war denying you was in it.
Important News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New Crosshairs interview with Yoshiro (Community Manager for Tripwire) you guys should give it a listen as he talks a bit about the beta and that it's basically complete (besides a bit more they have to do) so everyone get ready as the beta should be coming out very soon. I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT, RELEASE IT NOW /c
Wow you are the first person to actually call me out in a situation like this. Bravo.
It's people like you who are the reason why the rest of us Americans are not liked. Shut the fuck up and get over your stupid mindset of American winning WWII by themselves.
Wow you completely missed the point of that post you idiot. If you didn't realize that I was trolling you are retarded. (User was banned for this post ("Admitted to trolling" - Craptasket))
Must. Get. Into. Beta!
I just hope the 20 thousand keys they have for the beta is enough for some of us to get in, knowing tripwire I doubt they are going to last awhile. But I think they want to make it an actual beta and not a demo which is why for the small number of keys. The majority of the people who would get them first are the guys who constantly go on the forums (so I would suggest doing that, just keep an eye on the forum and check it often) so the majority of people with a beta key are actually beta testing the game and looking for bugs, not just getting a key to go play and try the game.
Guys, guys. We all know that Charlie Sheen WON world war 2, or as he liked to call it "winning war 2"
