The password was never intended to be "hard to guess". We thought people had enough common sense to not come barging into a session that is filled with 29th only members and is [B]passworded[/B]. Hell, the servers are never passworded unless there's a private session (some sort of private scrimmage) or drill going on so it doesn't matter much. You'll get kicked if you try to crash a drill session so it's really not a big deal if you know the password.
I'm glad you got perma-banned though, chances are you kept trying to come in after you were getting kicked. Some people just can't take a hint, right?

The giant Berlin map is a great example.
From what I saw of the latest gameplay videos the tank gameplay is starting to look really good. The only thing I hope they do is just sort out the textures for the interior, and also the textures for the landscape. All seemed a little bland from what I saw.
If they are adding penetration through cover (which they are), they really need to get it right for all the different types of rounds.

Based off the [url=http://steamcommunity.com/games/RO2/announcements/detail/974112548461028779]Steam Community/Blog update[/url] today, they're putting in enough detail to make angles matter.
Also that "empty" battlefield phenomena sounds insane.
The 29th server is a laggy shit-filled pit with a bunch of fat armchair generals that salute each other over the internet, and they can't even do that right. I saw a Cpl. and two PFCs saluting a SGT. They don't even know their own rules. I saw a SGT warn a guy about spawn camping, then on that same map on the opposite team a Lt. said it was fine.
If a better server existed that didn't play 24/7 tank maps, I wouldn't even consider joining 29th, but as it is it holds a monopoly in DH. Hopefully ROHOS will change that.

The only reason I join the 29th DH server is because it is the only server that doesn't do 24/7 tanking and has a good ping. I would join any other server with any other affiliation if it had the same location and same game type.

Not really, but it's getting frustrating how I'm taking flak simply because I expressed my highly positive opinion on the unit because of my own good experiences but the rest of you feel obligated to continue derailing the thread in a sort of 29th hate saying blatant garbage and as of recently, trying to advocate raiding even. To be honest, this sort of collective mentality based on personal disagreement and some misconstrued comparison to the EGO servers makes me think most of this is very exaggerated.

Get real, that's the first thing they make very clear to us in BCT when you join the unit, that you DO NOT DO. I got chewed out by the DI when I first joined because I complied to one of his orders by saying "Yes [i]sir[/i]." NCO's don't get that sort of formality. You can't even get OUT of BCT if you don't even know who and when to salute. Don't be a fool because you obviously misinterpretted what you saw.
You guys can hate the unit and disagree with it all you want, it won't change anything. You can be the mature ones and say "fuck it, they're not what I was looking for I don't want anything to do with them" and move along. Nobody asked you to play with them but if you have no choice cause it's "the only server on" then maybe it'd be best to just deal with it because bitching about something that won't change for YOU guys is pathetic.
